I think she is very happy where she is without all the crazy fan drama that some singers face. Plus she comes off to me as very humble individual and a wonderful soul. She gets the credit where it's due people know who she is when they hear her.

the npr tiny desk version shows such an increased maturity compared this version. That version is perfection in so many ways. This feels rushed but that version is just right ...... check it out if you haven't already

the tiny desk version is a song called Stand on her album Dawn, while this is When U Went Away on Mark Ronson's album Late Night Feelings...they're similar songs but not identical i like them both but agree the later version is more developed

I’m sorry, I read all of these critiques but this great artist is Hittin’’ it LIVE and KILLIN’ it. I’ve been a performer for years and I can assure you she’s IN THA POCKET. These critics are used to post production and aren’t aware of human feel. Show me where she goes off........

Yebba has her roots in gospel music and I believe she is marked The lord Jesus doesnt want her contaminated by the stains of music that doesn't glorify him i believe that's why she hasn't got the recognition someone else might have received especially with a beautiful voice like hers, she has a call of God on her life she wont truly be fulfilled unless she dedicates what God has given her , back to him , the lord knows them that are his and Jesus prayed to his Father Dont let me lose not one keep them in the world not of this world and not only these , but them that are far off , meaning even up till today up to now! So when you have been chosen of God he will seal your life for him! She wont rest well if she crossed over to that world that excludes God

Did anyone else notice the background singers started singing something else and they stopped when they realized Yebba wasn’t singing that part? 1:03 Also, sounds like she forgot a few words in the “I’m gonna be alright” part. 1:54 Overall she seems upset here... maybe they threw this together last minute?

Yebba is not so good live. Very pitchy executing complicated runs n flat in many parts. She has pitch problem. I really admire her talent n creativity, I wish she can solve that issues cause she is dan amazing talent

I get what you mean. But if you have a look at her earlier work and early minor live performances, her pitch and rendition are so much better. If I were to guess, she's having a hard time dealing with the pressure and the nerves that come with becoming bigger in the music industry and performing for bigger TV shows.

true. I watched the live song they recorded for Glastonbury and she nailed it except for one run. You can tell in that @Glaston taping she was in her zone. Most of the other live performances she has been pitchy and not comfortable. And can we talk about who is her backup singer...LaDonna Harley-Peters!!! SING GIRL she is a legend. google her people.
