Not a fan of her songs usually but this one... damn! And her low, metallic voice just suits perfectly. I like how she's taking advantage of it in her music these days more than she used to. And also that jacket looks so badass *0* men have been performing shirtless on stage for decades. Still loving this performance today in 2022. Love that she came out in that open jacket on LIVE TV and gave this perfect performance. I noticed her stance and confidence while performing this amazing song reminded me of so many male rockers over the years who perform shirtless. She broke barriers here and just continues to grow and evolve. Think this is still one of her greatest achievements and most excellent performance. She let her "DUDE" side out and showed the world, I am capable of anything. And that voice...impeccable

She is so talented. She truly has an exceptional voice and has definitely masterd a polished sound. I don't know if I have ever heard someone perform on SNL and come off so clear. The SNL accoustic's are horrible but she has such a strong steady sound that she knocked it out of the park here. I'm so glad that she has been able to find herself and know's who she is so she can focus more on her gift.

I appreciate that mark comes at producing and stuff from a different angle than most in this industry. I think it’s important for people who are doing behind the scenes work to get credit and it amazes me when people work on a song for months/years to perfect and then the artist comes in, tweaks it a little to make it theirs and then gets all the credit in the public eye for all the hard work the other person did. I think his being on stage and releasing tracks as himself with features on it really normalizes the idea that not all musicians are the ones you see in the public eye. There are geniuses that make amazing songs and no one knows who they are because the famous singer that is on vocals gets credit for the song as a whole. When I say credit I mean in the public eye, not actually being credited cause obviously that’s illegal to not do. I think often times people think the most talented ones are the ones who make it big and are celebrities, they made it for a reason didn’t they? But they really made it because of people like Mark and other people behind the scenes who don’t get the attention because they don’t sing.
