Sometimes I wonder if Mark is talking about his life as an idol in these songs. There are definite parallels - having to take on a different persona, being crowded in by oceans of people... but at the end of the day, regardless of what he's singing about, it's relatable, and I'm just proud of Mark for owning himself and releasing the music he wants to release. We're here to hear whatever he has to say.

The lyrics seems so sad though. The expectations that we set might be putting too much pressure on them. I hope everyone here would understand that they all also have their private lives and would respect their spaces because after all they didn't need to meet any of these expectations. I really wish more people would stop underestimating him, he is a true artist and always has been, and this video is very visually compelling, and ever since his solo debut he seems totally not afraid to just pour his heart out with the lyrics, no matter what language he’s singing in at the time, and I really hope people will just get kinda get over his visual and pay attention to the music instead, lol, or at least pay attention to both

@@nayelinperez8790 Hi new fan Mark is apart of Got7 which is a kpop group and so he as an American with Taiwanese decent had to move from his family to South Korea to train in singing, dancing, rapping and ect to debut which was in 2014 and on top of that he had to learn Korean at the same time. So combine that and you’re away from your family at the beginning of training, learning a new language and don’t know anybody in this new country you are bound to feel sad or depressed. Plus JYPE mistreated Got7 and under utilized them as a group especially its members individually even though they were one of their biggest money makers and pulled them out of debt/bankruptcy.

NB: English is my 3 language Well he's a kpop Idol or was (to avoid being 👊 in the face by him) If you are a K-pop fan you already know what Idols go through And JYP his old agency is Soo known of mistreatment the Idols alot of them left for this reason Back to him he was always that cute person who is silent the most of the time with a beautiful smile GOT7 were always joking by saying that he's the first person to go home and he sleep alot We all know that 😴 alot is a known way of running from reality... BTW I always knew he was sad But likely they didn't resign with JYP and he went back to USA To stay with his family and chill 🙂 I hope I helped you 😸

I lost my mom last December. She was really sick. I never realised that all my life was only for her. Today, I'm listening to this song and I'm crying because I don't want my life anymore that she is not here. I will give her my life for her to come back. I lost my mum almost 3 years ago. She was the center of my universe too so I do sometimes still feel lost and empty without her in my life. But I hope to get to a point where I can peacefully live with all her good memories someday
