Honestly Mark giving up music and going into another career like acting full time could’ve been a great alternative for him too. Many did it and are thriving. Mark has mentioned acting many times. Music isn’t everyone’s only career choice after being an idol. Many choose acting, variety shows.. Those are great too!

I gasp when I heard him say he almost gave up on music. Made me scared for a second but I guess he needed those moments to realize what he really wanted to do and that he really loves music and wanted to do more. His songs are really good not to mention he can sing, rap, dance and perform so well. Mark, thank you for not giving up and I hope it won't ever cross your mind again. Rest if you must but don't give up. YOU ARE TALENTED and a lot of people loves you and your songs! Fighting!

I tend to forget that Mark is this sweet, introverted boy who is always thinking and listening rather than being the one talking because he’s usually energetic when he’s with Got7, but this interview reminded me of this. Having to interview himself must’ve been difficult considering he’s usually the one observing, but he did absolutely wonderful!

He's so cute. I love him so much. Its nice how all the boys are honest about being burnt out from the idol industry, but also to see how much they still love eachother and music and the fans. in all honesty though: I would respect if he dropped making music because I can only imagine all the pressure and just feeling kinda burned out and TIRED. Nevertheless: I'm SOSOSOSOSOSO glad he didn't drop it. I always loved his songs, whether it were the ones he made for GOT7 or the ones that we still don't have officially released - like "Out of my mind"TT, I just liked how he was trying out different sounds, not to mention Mark's voice is really pretty and the fact that he aces both rapping AND singing is so amazing and makes me just want to sit there in wonder and listen to him all the time. And he's an amazing performance with charisma, with the moves and now: with also dancing background so yeah. I think I would really miss it if he stopped doing music. I'm so happy he's happy, he deserves to be and I'm proud to be his fan

he could go full time into acting. hes trained for years at jyp to act and hes wanted to do it. many idols leave music and go into variety or acting after group disbanding/hiatus. id love to see him pursue acting, not music frankly.
