Mark is just one of those alpha male confrontational types but so are a lot of lead male actors. He’s brought something unique to several roles from within those confines and that’s saying something. I always wondered why he was the only character whose hair continued to get longer throughout the movie, didn't know it was because of Invincible. I thought it was to show the passage of time. It's longer in the scene when DiCaprio says, "It's been a year, I've had enough of this." Then, it's much longer in the final scene when he shows up to kill Damon and sneaks out incognito, which also made sense.

What he means is he did not get paid a lot relatively. It something actors say when they feel they’re underpaid . Make sense when it sounds like he was originally gonna play Matt Damon part which would have been a substantial pay increase in comparison to supporting role he played . On top of that it’s a big ensemble cast that has to pay big chunks to everyone.
