I relate so hard to when your mind was blown by that parent that spent almost two hundred without question. 😂 I’m still in shock from a dad at my last market who brought one daughter over, let her pick out 3 plushies for herself plus some gifts for friends and her sister, and then came back 10 minutes later with the other daughter and did the same. He ended up spending almost $400 and didn’t bat an eye. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who reacts that way😂

I have done markets and shows for Decades. Just found your channel so of course NEW SUBBIE!! Keep all your items you need for shows together in container. That way you never forget them. Never miss out on a sale! When lady asked for an item you were sold out on offer to ship and add shipping cost. There will be so many that will say YES. Start a text sign up list! You can keep in touch with customers! Send them pics of new items, sales you might run and advertise for your next show. Your items are adorable!!!! I thought I’d share my tips that have helped me. You should get a stamp made with your logo/handle, and stamp your brown purchase bags 🥰 Further your branding girl!

I am so happy for you. YEARS ago I did craft shows. My biggest seller was Raggedy Ann. They took forever to make and I would sell her for $7.00. Back then .... fabric was affordable and so was the fiberfill. I started making them when I was a senior in high school. I made them for all my friends and I will never forget when "Val" bought a Raggedy Ann and Andy for his girlfriend. He did not know it but I had a crush on him !!!!!

I had my first craft show last November and my hubby came and helped me. I was so nervous, but he was not. He really helped me shake those nerves. He is a former car salesman and his sales experience helped me so much.

You are adorable! My husband and I go to lots of craft shows and your tips are on point! Signs! Smiles! Personality! How about sloths & owls? My grandsons love those! Pokémon ? Another grandson loves anything Pokémon! Caution- trademarked characters might be an issue to replicate…Best of luck to you!

Where was your market at? your sales were awesome. The price point you had was way more than the area that I sell in would pay. My leggy froggy is sold for $10. Even then, they are a little hesitant about paying that. The kids talk them into it. Lol. Great job!

Congrats on your sales, looks like a great location! It would be interesting to know how much you spent on yarn and your time making the items. Just wondering what your total sales would be minus those two things plus the vendor fee. I feel like no one ever tells us that part of their craft fair. My husband always makes fun of me that I’m paying myself like $5/hr after you minus all that out. I don’t care because I crochet because I like it😅
