@@CowhideCozy I do have one actually. How do you find these markets to attend? Did/do you need a business license? (think this is entirely dependent on state you're in most likely) Perhaps answering this is a good video idea for you ;)

@@SmM33380 so the way I found this market is actually a sign that was put up in my town advertising for it and then I looked it up on Facebook and messaged them! I did the same market last year as well when I first found it and they invited me back this year! I am not required to have a business license as of right now for the markets that I attend but you might for certain markets or in certain states. This is definitely a good video idea and I have it written down in the notebook to work on!

Your stuffies are absolutely adorable!!! I’m new to your channel… so I’m not sure if you have an Etsy shop, or a website… but I need to find out cuz selfishly… I need a penguin!!! Just as a matter of information… as an accomplished crocheter… from start to finish how long would you estimate it takes you to make a frog, or an octopus versus the strawberry cow? I’m new to the maker space, and am interested in trying my hand at some screen printing… thus I’m just curious as to how different makers factor in their investment of time when pricing their handmade items. Welcome!!! I don’t have a website or anything at the moment, I do have a Facebook page tho and I take orders through that! 🥰 the frog takes me about 30 minutes and the octopus takes about 45! The strawberry cow takes a couple of hours all the way through! I also look at the current market to see prices of other makers and gauge my prices that way as well😊 thank you so much, I so appreciate you subscribing and wish you all the best!🥰

Also sometimes well most of the time if things are higher priced people will not buy as some people think crochet is dumb and silly and surely it doesnt take that much time and effort and its not hard😊

But if you knit faster, you do that because you already have experience and you shouldn't price them lower. I hope that in addition to the material, you have set a price for your hour of work and you are charging it, it happened to me that when I started I charged little to sell but over time my hands began to be affected because I sold a lot because it was cheap. Craft work is worth a lot! You have to charge it well 💕✨

@@Sb1305 definitely agree with you. I’m pretty fast myself and most of my items take me less than an hour. But my pricing really comes from what I think the item is worth not hourly rate since I definitely am faster than when I started.
