That's wild, the moment Mr. Horvath returns, ZZ goes on vacation. Ha ha!! Well he's probably earned it. We all need a little time off once in a while, even Grandpa says that's ok. That is quite the log, you got some pretty good decking out of that for what it is.

Yes, you really did that tree some Justice. Could see where you were going with that tree on the 3rd turn on the table. Cool Mark. Your effort with that saw was a great. Even when you thought you had a good run the tree showed up with something different. Fun to watch guys.

Hey, Mark & Eddie: I’ve been watching your channel for a couple of years, I don’t know why it’s so fascinating to watch logs being sawed & edged into lumber, but it catches me every time. How about teaming up with a game developer and giving us wanna-be sawyers a saw mill game where we can match wits with Mark on a log that Mark has previously cut & is programmed into the game? You could also have an edging event, and even a lumber stacking event.
@markgalicic778819 күн бұрын
thanks Steven , you have a great idea! not sure who could make this happen.

I have an order for decking boards we need to saw next week. We are sawing and videoing today at 7:30 pm. A few inch boards and 6X6's. Sunday's video highlights improvements made from viewer comments. I really appreciate the shout-out. That and the wrecks, plus it being the 4th of July, it all added up to gaining a lot of ground on my channel. So again, thank you, Shannon

Nice to see you all doing what you love to do best and to listen to the sounds of the mill. By the way have you ever uses the black walnut as accent pieces on cabinet doors or drawer fronts as a visual contrast to the other woods used?
@dagwood132720 күн бұрын
I am a retired cabinet maker, I am building for myself some spalted birch that is beautiful and planning on trimming in walnut. Shaker style doors. I haven’t made them yet. But the wood is dry and part of it is milled to thickness. I may face the cabinets in walnut or something almost white.

You have Mr laser that shines vertically for you. Could you mount a horizontal laser to the height of the blade to make sure it’ll clear. Possibly mount on the front of your shack. Or is the height that much of an issue since you have little Donny ?
