******************************************************************************************
Today's Tutorial Information:
▶ Technique: Abstract Art - Painting with a Comb and Sponge.
▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with a pouring medium and water. I use good quality paints that have a good binder. My pouring medium is Owatrol Floetrol. I use a ration of 1:3:1 - paint: pouring medium: water. You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use.
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Titanium white, Lamp Black, Brilliant Blue, Sky Blue Light, Turquoise Blue,
Winsor & Newton: Cobalt Blue
Pebeo: Iridescent Gold
▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.

Hi Mark, It never fails. I'll be down in the dumps because of pain & my many health problems & you'll pop up with another gorgeous creation, which cheers me up. No-one could stay sad after seeing you create yet another masterpiece. I see the city scape with the bright lights & a community coming together & shining through the darkness of adversity. Again, this is my favourite, they are all my favourites. I would still love to see something in the purple 💜 colour palette. Thank you for making me smile again in the middle of the night down under. 🇦🇺

Here in San Diego we have cliffs by the ocean. I see a winter where the brush is dry and the ocean ebbs and flows down below. I also see your city scape with dark clouds of a storm over a lit city. What a unique piece. It's really cool.

I see a seascape and although I am not a fan of big cities, I love this piece. The blues are calming and soothing. As I am walking in this city I am having a lovely time, then I look up and see the storm approaching, but I am not afraid. Kind of like life, peace some days, other days not so much. But it is life. You probably are going to tire of me saying this, but your work mesmerizes me and I can’t wait to see what you create next.

I was very patient watching this one. U really freaked me out when u dropped the cup of paint. Gasped for sure. 😲 but in the end it all turned out great. I agree with u on the city scape with a storm above. Very simple process & it is Very Cool Piece. Great job !!

Defo looks like a cityscape, but the colour of the clouds reminds me more of the smoke of burning chemicals or plastic 😉 I like how the comb swipes look like huge beautiful Old World buildings. I would like to see the same technique, but using the blues for the sky and the base colours for the comb swipe, with less black. Anyway, this piece has its charm and the gold on the cityscape looks like "sunshine on a cloudy day". Good job, Mark 🖒💖 Oh and of course - due to my colour preferences - I would try on a piece with beautiful greens💚 maybe combined with gold and copper or so 😊

Hi Mark. Thank you for sharing what you do. There are many I would love to try. I have a question- what rings do you use? If the are embroidery hoops, do you then remove the hardware? I don’t see it when you are working with them. Do you have an Amazon shop? I’ve looked through some of your videos looking for any info. Thank you, Mikie
