I haven’t been on many cruise ships but I loved that one cruise director James Love and he brought the energy and a moment I’ll always remember when we I was at the 80’s and 90’s glow in the dark party and when this one song came on he poured a bunch of sugar on himself while the song sang “Pour some sugar on me” loved his energy even he isn’t the worlds best cruise director he was one I’ll always remember

Have sailed on several cruises and I do not remember who was on but the ones who have left an impression on me were “Donkey” and Kyndall Fire 💜💜💜 loved their down to earth personality and they love what they do which makes our vacations even better!

In my opinion I think that Ms Georgia Craig is my all time favorite cruise director because she was super nice when I was on my cruise and I honestly loved her so much. I loved her so much that I even bought her and I matching bracelets that we could wear to remember each other and to this day I onlt take if off so that I don't get it wet or meased up but other than that it is always on my wrist because I will forever miss her and I just hope that I get to go on another cruise with her.

Cookie is our all-time favorite cruise director! The only other one we have had is Dr. E. We have done 15 Carnival cruises and have one scheduled in 2023.

I've sailed with 4, and will sail with the 5th in April. Jen Baxter was always my favorite (we have a mutual love for shoes) but honestly they are all amazing I don't think I could pick a favorite!

Lee is the absolute best cruise director. He is so funny,sincere and has an amazing presence. He’s so talented and has brought my love for cruising back. He has a voice you just love to hear. On other cruises I’ve been like why won’t that guy stop talking with Lee it’s more like “shhh Quiet Lee is talking. Can’t wait to hear what he has to say”. He’s a fierce leader who has lead my family to a fantastic cruise aboard the celebration this past week. Cannot wait to cruise with him again. Do yourself a favor cruise with Lee. He’s on🔥

Have sailed with Dr E and Kendyl Fire and both were amazing! Fun fact….Kendyl got her stage name from Dr E. We learned that during the Q&A session with her on the Mardi Gras. We loved waking up every morning on the Pride to Dr E’ smooth singing voice. I would book again with him in a heartbeat if he returned. I sailed with Mike Pack on the Horizon and his lovely wife Emma on the Sunshine both were great. Fun video, thanks for posting it!

I must say that I totally agree with you that Carnival has the best cruise directors! We have been on several Carnival cruises but Lee is the only one on the list that we have had as cruise director and he was awesome! We really want to go on a cruise with the Flying Scotsman.

Me and my family will have Cookie on the Carnival Horizon in August. After seeing this video. I CAN’T WAIT!!! We had Donkey last year also on the Horizon 😂. I saw and met the one and only John Heald on the Ecstasy’s last sailing back in October. He’s the best!!

We have cruised with Cookie twice. We did a B2B with Chris (Donkey) 2 years ago and I cruised with John Heald in July 1993 on the Ecstasy! We are on the Legend and the Mardi Gras over the summer. Can't wait till we retire and can cruise more.

Cookie is definitely our #1, I think Christian was probably the next in line for me as he created very memorable experiences. We got to know him and his fun squad both on and off the ship in ports. Have a really funny story about winning "Clue" on board his ship at the time. Since so many people play, and they have to draw a winner, I jokingly told a member of the fun squad that I was doing a special fold on my entry so they'd pull it... Sure enough, it was the first one pulled, they had a blast with that on stage when they realized I was the winner. Great memories on board all of Carnival's ships, got my next one booked on the Vista in late May. :)

I too have sailed with many of these (Cookie, Donkey, Matt, the Flying Scotsman, and Lee Mason). OF these Lee was the best but our favorite CD was Steve Cassel.

I sailed with MarQ on the inaugural Venezia sailing last summer and he was good, very entertaining, but I’ll always love Kyndall Fire. She has been hands down the absolute best and one who is the most genuine. MarQ made a game of whispering into the paging system each morning to wake us up with the AM news and “goings on” around the ship which was cute and funny.

The flying Scottsman and Donkey are really good but we recently cruised on the the Celebration and and I have to say he is really funny.He really gets involved with the passengers However for us the best of the best was former NCL Tyler Gray .

We sailed with Cam last March for the Sailabration cruise in the Glory. He’s a lot of fun!

We’ve cruised with Lee twice (maybe three times but we’re not sure lol). We love him! Next May we cruise on the Jubilee so looking forward to Kyndall. I didn’t know she was a Texan so she ought to be good. :)

@@thecruiseworld May 18th! I don’t even care about the itinerary. We just wanted to cruise for the ship. We went on the Mardi Gras 2 years ago and it’s the best ship so far, so I know it’ll be a good ship!

I like frankie I believe in was December 2022 Carnival Cruise Pride. Did anyone go on this? I believe it was Frankie. We got on in Tampa Florida and went to Conzmal and Cayman Island. Does anyone know if I am right was it Frankie???

I agree that a list of All Time Great CDs is subjective but it is curious the lack of inclusion of some of the Cruise Directors that BUILDT THIS LINE in the 1980s, Were it not for them, Carnival would not exist today. Who remembers Bill Panoff, Gary Hunter, Dave Armour, Malcolm Kennedy, Kenny Day, Bob Hamill, and many others!!

I would say that this era of social media allows current CD’s to reach a broader audience and continue to engage with cruisers even when they’re not cruising. I believe that accounted for much of the “popularity” that Cruise Mummy used to formulate this list. Thanks for watching.

Oh Nick…. I was covering the list compiled by Cruise Mummy, based on several different criteria. That being said, I couldn’t agree with you more that Felipe is amazing and he holds a very special place for me…. Felipe was the CD in 2011 on Splendor when I got engaged, and he was also the CD on Valor for my honeymoon in 2013. We LOVE Felipe. WOOHOO!!!
