Yes Plantar Fascitis is absolute hell!for about 6 months one spring through fall I dreaded putting my feet on the floor! Normally I am out working in the yard and garden, I was completely unable to enjoy summer. It went away as quickly as it came.

The beige animal print jumper looks fabulous on you. Animal print is a classic the won't go out of fashion anytime soon. I would definitely go for this outfit, quality shows.

I too know the agony of plantar fasciitis. Not familiar with FitVille shoes but I can recommend the Brooks Cloud line or Sarcony Pwrrun both are super comfortable shoes to wear with casual clothes. Love this clothes haul - More Autumn clothes please!

I'm 5 4 and always had trouble with trousers being too long, I wear Maison Eco Vero trousers from Whitestuff, they bring out different colours patterns each season. I love the blue cable knit, M&S have some lovely jumpers this autumn.

When you said you'd forgotten who you are I laughed out loud. Sometimes outfits look perfect on the model, but don't translate to reality. I loved the cobalt blue sweater and the gray cashmere vest the best. The black trousers were very flattering. The wide leg ones didn't work as well. Honestly, I think wide leg pants are far more likely to fall out of style than that gorgeous animal pattern sweater. Plantar fasciitis is the worst! I'm glad you discussed shoes that work for you. My trusty clearance-from-Amazon Skechers are worn out and I'm on the hunt for other brands.

That first outfit is such a stunning blue! It's very flattering on you! The third outfit is cute! Love the sleeveless vest over the fitted shirt. I don't think you need a larger size. The animal print sweater is lovely! And I think it will stand the test of time. Thanks to you, I have just discovered that M&S has a US website 😂. I can't imagine having plantar faciitis in both feet at the same time! How awful! I have it in one foot, but it's not terrible right now. I have short fat legs and wear wide leg trousers all the time. I always wear trousers hides a multitude of sins I am 87 and need a stick now as I have an arthritic knee. I have just had a haul from M&S and a lot had to go back. Love your vlogs.❤️❤️

I liked the blue trousers more than the grey. I think the big sleeves on the sweater emphasised the squareness of the trousers whereas if you paired them with a shirt and the tank top (😉) it would create a more flattering silhouette. I’m suffering with plantar fasciitis now 😩. I’m in desperate need of comfortable footwear. Like you it’s the second time. I live in Greece and the podiatrist I saw told me to buy a particular type of Sketchers which helped enormously. I’ll look at your suggestions

Don’t give up on wide leg trousers. I it depends on how the fabric hangs/drapes. Also I think the stripes are stopping them hanging the best.

When I get shoes with that type of logo I just colour it in with a black sharpie!

Hi Helen, just want to say I have very bad arthritis in every joint in my body especially my feet and hips and this year I have had two pairs of Sketchers and oh they are so comfortable and have made a big difference to me. I understand your pain and every day is just one long round of taking pain killers even through the night as don’t sleep too well. Anyway just thought I would suggest the Sketchers they might help. You could colour over the white writing on the Fitville shoes with a black Sharpie pen if you are keeping them. Don't like the second outfit on you, it's all a bit shapeless and makes you look big. Loved the animal print sweater. I'm not surprised you channel is growing so quickly. There are so few ladies your age and size doing fashion hauls and it is so nice seeing clothes on someone that looks like me instead of stick thin models. The only other middle aged ladies all seem to be American and all show American clothing so I don't bother as paying shipping and taxes/customs makes everything too expensive. Keep em coming. You really suit that shade of blue colour as you said, the sweater wd have been perfect if it had a v neck as you have a tiny waist and everything you wore with a v neck enhanced that. Loved all the layering tank tops too, as for pants I guess it’s what makes you feel good. I was in marks today , I did buy a few bits but not a sweater because there were slim pickings on natural fibres in my branch (menopause and flashes !)

Hi Helen here’s my 2cents worth of what you’ve shown us. Don’t like the blue on you as the jersey is too short. Don’t like the pants with the stripes. The black pants you put on afterwards is a keeper. White shirt always useful with a string of pearls. Love the longer length tops on you. Straight with side slits always very flattering and it makes you look taller. Can’t wait to see the rest 💕🇬🇧

The stripe down the side of those trousers make your legs look longer.

Helen love your videos. I’m a recent new subscriber. Can empathise re Plantar Fasciitis. The only thing that helped me was having shock wave therapy on my feet by physio. Was like flicking a switch. Loved the tank tops with black trousers and the animal print jumper.

I agree with you, if you're going to spend a lot of money on a cashmere sweater stear clear of any pattern as it will look dated very quickly. As for wide leg trousers, I don't care if they are trendy, I just hate them, give me a pair of slim leg trousers any day.
