Great vid. Two friendly suggestions- understanding how tax deferred accounts (such as a 401 or an IRA in the United States) work and understanding how to cut costs in everyday life (for example, buying store brand food instead of the fancier brands (which are usually the same thing) to save 50c to a dollar per item) to generate more cash.

I'm in my late 30's myself so a few of these aren't for me anymore, but the "laser focus" aspect really is true when owning a business. Do not let anything distract you when working towards a goal, you'll reap the benefits later. Great Advice for younger people Mark, wish you'd been around when i was in my 20's

Mark, I'm sure you get plenty of video ideas, but I'd love a video about how taxes really work with investing. I have a RothIRA and I understand that, but my wife and I want to start investing money that we can actually take out and use for our daily lives when needed, and I just don't know how that's taxed! I'm aiming for both longterm and shortterm investing in my portfolio! Thanks!

As someone who's been very passionate about health and fitness for a while now... Thank you for including #5. 🙏 💯 Too many wealth gurus will advocate "HARDCORE 100% BUSINESS THERE IS NO BALANCE!" blah blah blah. Much rather a healthier, happier, and slightly slower but more productive success story than a torturous journey of deprivation chasing a chance at success with suboptimal self-input and the regret of poor health.

Great video Mark, would be great to see a video where you start a new account on something like Trading 212, and show us from scratch what you would do, it’s intimidating when you don’t know what’s what! Love the channel!

I think he's mentioned in previous videos how big a fan he is on index funds so if you aren't really sure setting up a S&S ISA in Trading212 ISAs index funds are the way to go (VUSA the S&P500) averages a 8-10% return. I'd assume index funds might make up more than 50% then the rest would be individual stocks for I'd say brands you use daily like Microsoft, Google, Amazon etc

I invested $200 in s&p 500 index fund as a long term stock. But I’m not sure where to start with crypto and normal stocks and I want to learn and grow my wealth early.

In my country interest rates start at 10% and inflation is around 10-15% annually, not most favorable condition for businesses that start from zero. But there’s other side, you only focus on highly marginal ideas that will bring profit immediately. You just won’t survive otherwise

Doesn't matter who you surround yourself with. You need a personality that is suited to business. Mark has this in spades and he looks for the same attributes in others that's why he's successful. Personality is set before birth

Wish I new this when I was 18. Moved out and got into 10k worth of debt because no one taught me how to use credit cards. And I was too dumb to understand how the interest worked. So angry with myself. Now I’m 25 and have only managed to pay off 4k of it.
