Nobody is like Mike Patton, but I did enjoy Christian Älvestam during his years with Scarr Symmetry. I don't know if it was influenced by some of earlier FNM work, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Oh sweet Patton, you are a rare and beautiful creature. The haunting guitar stabs the sweet spot inside, as does MP's angel/demon voice. The tones, the timing, the movement....all so, so right. Thank you for this song!

This is a great performance. I wonder how much Patton's microphones cost?!? There is like NO DISTORTION whatever, they're crystal clear and can handle his whole ENTIRE range!! And he has the soundboard/mixer he has. Maybe a $50,000 set up???

50K haha. for what? No, it's probably not cheap, but he's a good musician. Wouldn't amaze me the microphone is a Shure. And he probably has some pretty oldskool sampler and mixer.

The best description I can use to sum up his unique vocals: Smooth as sweet honey, that's studded with razor blades. This song perfectly encapsulates the complexity.
