Really love how you are bringing more awareness for DV because no woman, man or child should ever be ashamed, embarrassed or afraid to seek help! And some people are hesitant about posting about DV and spreading awareness because others can be critical at times!! But I love what you are doing!!

I know there’s some sort of stigma and shame associated with it and I do respect the feelings of those that wish to stay quiet but for me… I’m not the quiet type 😆 and It wasn’t my fault. oooh love the Tif blue!! I have the boomer nails on now with the tap-thanks for the tip on scrubbing off excess to avoid the grainy or bubble look-didn't realize that is what was creating that ick. Love them so much may attempt a fill vs doing new mani (only problems is nails are getting too long for me lol) Need some vacation inspired nails to practice (Hawaii this summer) that aren't over the top but still pretty.

This is my favorite ombre technique. I've done others, but this gives the ultimate control, as you said, also with your non-dominant hand. Tap ombre can go very wrong using your non-dominant hand. I know, I've tried. Yes, it takes longer, but it's well worth the ever! Cheap brushes by Elf work as you suggested. Turns out beautifully with patience.

I let it set for a few seconds.. this will depend on the dry time of your base. Test the waters with a little dab of the brush and see if it’s at all sticky before you start scrubbing!

Great tutorial! I did my first time dip powder and they came out perfect. Thank you so much. I have a question. Do you need a uv light after the gel top coat? I used the kit's top coat but thinking to give a try to a gel top coat. Thank you 😊

I’m so glad you’re loving your dip nails! 🙌🏻 Yes, gel products all require a gel lamp. If you need help finding one, I have a bunch in my amazon storefront (linked in the description) that I’ve tried and loved. But if youd prefer to look on your own, find one that’s at least 48 watts. 💕

This is beautiful!! I love this new way to ombré. I feel like I have so much more control of the colors. When you start to put on your second color is your first color totally dry? If not how do you not get base liquid on your brush? Thank you for this video.

Thank you so much! Yep, I make sure the first color is about 95% set before I start scrubbing the second color on. The timing may vary depending on your base liquids dry time, but it shouldn’t take more than a few seconds. Low odor liquids typically take a bit longer to set. 💕

Can you do this technique with glitter as the darker color (scrub with glitter)? Or do you recommend doing the tap method for glitter?

Glitter definitely won’t scrub. Try the tab method for glitters! 🫶🏻

I have a question not about this video but you have tried dip liquids from Sundara Nails and liked their order less dip liquids especially the base. I also love them really helps with dip flu. I have not tried the top coat and would like to ask if you could give your opinion on it. I have been using Revel’s glass shield gel top coat and love it but have been having some yellowing after about week and a half. I’m trying to figure out what could be causing this. Have you tried the gentle dip top coat? Love your channel and I basically follow your directions and I am lots better dipping than in the beginning. Thanks

Hey love! I was NOT a fan of the sundara dip top, but in my experience with low scent dip tops, they’re not great in general. I love the modelones gel top - they never yellow on me OR you can use any regular polish top that you like! 2 coats ❤️

I have azure dip powder nail set. I filed my nails and washed ( i just learned nail base is supposed to totally dry, maybe that was my mistake) i used base and dipped twice, brush to clean each time. Then used activator then filed and used gel top -no uv . Maybe i cut between each process too short. I had some on my skin or came too close to my skin . After a 7 days two nails chipped from edge

It was my final dip (build powder = clear acrylic) I choose not to use clear dip until I encapsulate. I find my nails look more natural and less bulky this way but if you prefer to use clear as a first dip, you’re welcome to!
