I love these Taubman malls and think they are beautiful. I'm glad they are being documented.

Marley Station pretty much got killed because of Arundel Mills mall opening nearby. With Arundel Mills being an outlet mall and having a casino, everyone started flocking there instead.

No, the internet killed Marley Station. Arundel Mills would've suffer a similar fate if not for the construction of the Casino and its Hotels.

Once mall space starts being taken over by gyms, medical services, etc then i think that artificially impacts vacancy rates. While malls surely have to adapt to changing markets and the pressure of current economics, the loss of retail space is the reality here. A gym or an out patient medical clinic consuming a large amount of empty retail space isn't always the solution for the problems of a dead mall. Thanks for sharing this location.

I've been hearing that they got a new owner and that they are supposed to turn this Mall around

Great video! With Namdar now owning Marley Station, I don’t see any hope here

Another stagnant mall, such a shame too, this mall has very similar architecture to The City Center and Minnehaha malls in Minneapolis, Liked the vid

it is crazy how Malls still do well in Europe and Asia but are failing in USA.

This and the Denny's down the road were the spot when i was growing up. I spent my pre teen to late adult years at this mall. Most of the time daily. Before they put the sears in there was a huge hill called headbangers hill where all the metal heads and alterna kids hung out. Right inside that entrance was a record store called waxie maxies. They had multiple autograph signings at that store. Pantera and Slayer to name a couple. Even though i was lost and going through alot those were still the best days of my life and i really wish i could go back and relive them. Hit me up if this was your mall too.
