Christian was considered the prime pickup of the Olsen trade and had a rotten rookie season at the plate for Oakland last year and they dumped hm instead of developing him. Nice pickup and the Phillies trust him enough to start the first two playoff games. He came through.

Yeah man, this is such a fun team to watch, full of guys that are easy to root for. Getting back to a world series is tough, but with a bunch of guys that don't quit, they've got a great shot at making it happen. Pitching makes me nervous still even though wheeler and Nola looked great.. Nola is still good for that 4th-5th inning meltdown. Past them Sanchez might be the pitcher I trust the most, then Walker, then ranger for long relief.

It was the outcome everyone expected, but Philly showed their experience and expectations in this series. Philadelphia versus Atlanta is going to be an epic series, and I honestly don't think there's a clear favorite to win. Especially after last year's series. Both teams have the bats, and Phillie's pitching cannot be underestimated. Saturday is going to be fun.

@@mikeyy425 I mean, sure- Braves had the best record in the regular season, but Philly handled them last season with relative ease, and Philly will enter the series hot. I can't reasonably say that the Braves are clear cut favorites in this series.

6:15 - Jazz's reaction to the K was priceless. Congrats to the Marlins for making the playoffs versus more highly touted teams adored bu pindots. They sucked it up when others failed. They just ran into Fed October. They have the makings of a pretty good team for 2024 with a few more good moves, like Kim Ng stealing Burger from the White So and Bell from Cleveland. It's why some teams make the playoffs. Keep an eye on the Marlins in the next few years is they get healthy pitching.

The corners are so much more secure this year. Bohm has gotten so much better defensively, and, no offense to Hoskins, but Harper is an infinitely better first baseman.

i may be truly disappointed with the way the marlins played this series, but honestly, i'm proud we got this far. i didn't think we would be here after the way we started the second half. getting burger and bell changed our offense big time. yes, there were injuries that riddled our team, but did the boys give up? no, not at all. i'm frustrated but grateful. i hadn't watched a marlins game in three or four years before this march. this offseason should be a time of reflection. i knew we wouldn't win this series, and that's okay. gotta get good offseason trades that'll help us pitching and hitting wise, and we gotta go into spring training and do well. congratulations to philly on making it to the next round. onto 2024. 🐠💙

Every team that won Game one in these Wild Card Series won game two. There was no Game three's at all. But Statistics say that the team that wins Game one in these wild card series in the MLB wins the wild card Series majority of time the percentage is more high for the team that wins the Game one in these wild card series...⚾

The braves maybe the best in the regular season but if the Bruins and the 07 Patriots taught me ANYTHING is that analytics from the Regular season mean nothing in the postseason. This Braves/Phils series is gonna be a good one

@@willp.8120 wasn't saying who'll win. Just saying that it'll be a series to watch given that that last season was kinda the same. Only this time the Braves are THE team to beat. But stranger things happened from the 2022-23 bruins were the best but got taken out of the first round by a team they were favored to beat to the 07 Patriots with an undefeated regular season only to fall in the Super Bowl. So all I am saying is that this'll be a series for the ages regardless who wins

@@michaelangst6078 My point is literally the last line of the comment. "This Braves/Phils series is gonna be a good one". Because they both played last season with the Braves heading home. Now the Braves are playing them again with a ton of hype given their Regular season props HOWEVER they are on upset alert because of last time. And if sportsball taught me anything is that anything can happen regardless if you went undefeated or even broke regular season records, this is the postseason. Not saying the Phillies would win it like before but it'll definitely be fun to watch regardless of who wins.

Well played for the Phillies, I had no doubts they would advance, I just expected a bit more resistance from the Marlins. It is good XP for the Marlins, I feel sorry for Yuli, as it is not certain he will be back on MLB in his age-40 season. But the Fish still have a strong bunch, they will need 1-2 SP and they will make an even bigger impact come next year.

As a Giants fan, I knew Phillies were going to win it because they’re a better team then Miami and also because of that Grand Slam 8:17. They could possibly lose in the NLDS because Atlanta was the best team ever in MLB this season.
