@@truehappiness4U Thank you for saying this, so many don't understand, and a monster wouldn't have feelings and compassion. Yes, the creature didn't understand about the cat being a pet, but no different to humans eating cows, chickens, goats ext. Once he was told not to eat cats he learned. Just my opinion on this anyway. Funny that when it's a man with a female creature, that's acceptable, like in Avatar, you didn't hear anyone saying she was a monster. When roles are reversed and it's a woman with a male creature, people lose their minds and call that bestiality, but a human man with a female creature, most people seem to be okay with that. Double Standard! Also, I don't agree with the over religious people calling all ETs fallen angels, as if we are the only intelligent existence out of the entire universe or that ETs couldn't have an understanding also of the Creator and revere the Creator in their own sacred way. I believe the Creator, could have created many species, because I don't revolve everything written in a book by flawed human men, even if these men did feel inspired by God. I think this sea creature was basically from an intelligent ET amphibian race.

@@Mojosfire yeah double standards do exist unfortunately. Notice how women have more compassion towards this sea creature in the movie, whereas men see it as a monster? Because those men get jealous and afraid those monsters can gain the love of women lol. Some men can be so desperate for women. And yeah the Bible was written by many different authors, most were men or anonymous authors. Old Testament is from the Jewish Torah holy book. New Testament is something only from Christians. Islam, Jewish, and christian holy books contain stories of Abraham and Moses etc. That’s what the 3 religions have in common (old Testament).

@@truehappiness4U Exactly, and you are so right, much of the women on here love the story, and the monster comments, many have been made by guys, lol! The character in this had empathy with the woman, much like any actual caring human would. In fact, the real monsters can be found often times right in the human race and look at how horrible the men were to the creature, especially how that one man treated him, so I say who's the real monster??! Humans so often times put themselves on a pedestal as if we are the only species that's capable of understanding logic, consequences and having compassion. Often times, humans are the ones that commit the most heinous crimes! Is the human race not the beasts when they abuse, or murder someone, or kill an innocent animal just to show off for a trophy??! Who's the real monster?! It's often times us! So, yes totally agree, and yes, I agree with you on the religion theory too.
