Thank you for being so frank and also stating that the first marriage is with Waheguru, after which an earthly relationship with another human being is a bonus second. I appreciate that you admit there have been rough patches and that not everything is perfect.

Just watched this with my partner... we were mindblown with how much your story matches our own. We are so happy to hear the same experience - inner void when looking too outwards, help of Gurmat to put relationships, family into perspective yet commitment to each other also. We can openly tell each other when are becoming attached to the body vs loving the timeless essence- which in turn is a mirror for our own inner discovery. Awesome raw content!

I remember taking decisions instantly in relationships where I thought oh I found love which was completely insane when I looked back. I really liked this answer where bhaji answered about how you know this is the right person talking about if that person fit in your world, not just your imagination but in actual world fits in your family agree on that totally 😀

Very well stated! So often people never want to admit there’s a void even in a happy marriage; they feel there must be something wrong with them to feel that void. But I agree, God must come first, He alone can fill the void and all else that we have is a blessings but only He can sustain us.

Waheguru ji Ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh 🙏🏽. I must say that this is truly truly wonderful. I am glad that you guys made this video and I feel we need many more videos like this. Open dialogue is the best key to a successful marriage. It takes a mind set of loads of understanding and patience to know that person in your life. I feel it is easy to say I quit and walk away looking for that greener grass. But like you've stated it will not last. I think that whatever situation or status your relationship Is in we can all relate to this in some way. My personal experience is much the same but only I want to walk that spiritual path and my wife is hesitant to an extent. I feel if we were both on that same path we can fall in love again and have more understanding of what it all means on a whole another level through spirituality. It's very hard to want to be spiritual all alone and dedicated to making sense of this life we have. I feel truly that gurbani is the key to unlocking it all and living in bliss. I feel that it could help my frustrations and expectations that I set forth as husband. Gurbani is could be the very thing we need in our lives. You guys are very blessedly to have that tie of the love for the Guru to keep you linked. I applaud you for this video and all the videos you put out because they truly truly make sense. 🙏🏽

I've heard someone else's teaching that says we WANT to reincarnate and want to be a part of the "worldly stuff" and that we choose to be here, because that's where all the action is... they said that every being who's ever been into music, joins in the joy when people are enjoying music, same with any other aspect/subject in life.

Committment does not need marriage as it is defined today. Love, trust, loyalty, respect, honesty, authenticity, connection, and truth should be our committment and whether that makes for a marriage or not is wholly insignificant. True marriage is in the committment to these virtues as is boldly and brightly described in the laavan 🙏🏽

I'm so amazed at how well you both communicate with each other!. I was going through the exact same thing by unfortunately my ex husband never wanted to talk about anything so the marriage ended. It's so hard to stay in a marriage when you're feelings thoughts and concerns are overlooked and you're made to feel unvalued, unheard and you feel so alone. Unfortunately my 3 boys are still very young 8,6 and 2 and it's them that I worry about.

I do feel like love and spirituality/enlightenment are one in the same, it's the same frequency... I just got tired of always being the one to feel the other person but they never felt me... it's been this weird kind of torture... I think I've actually just given up on relationships.
@yamini8633
@yamini8633 4 жыл бұрын
Things tend to happen/(fall in place) just when you have given up on them. It's fine to love and understand others even if they don't reciprocate. Doesn't mean you have to stay in toxic relationships though. What I mean to say is that we tend to see the world in terms of good and bad. When in fact the truth is it's neither of the two. Life is just life. It's extremely subjective to label our experience as good , bad , etc. All our actions help us learn something about life. And on actions alone we have control not on their outcomes ( as quoted in the Bhagwat Gita) It may seem unfair but actually it's extremely liberating to know that we can't determine the outcome of our actions. That's where lies the beauty , uncertainty and magic of life. Otherwise everything would be predictable and boring. Also we would never do anything just for the sake of doing it. We would be always tied to the end goal and forget to live in the moment. Our now is our reality. And our reality is our God.

When that first child is born, it would have made me fall in love with my husband all over again if he just knew I needed him to bring the love of our guru, our God into our family through prayers and meditation. Especially during moments of breastfeeding. The sensations of profound Godly unconditional love are ever so present during breastfeeding. New mom’s need their partners to share truthful Guru guidance. Without this relationship love fades. Being new parents we were not knowledgeable of this. ❤

Great video certainly helps. How would you deal with an arranged marriage with someone who had lots of baggage with her. And because of her life with one parent no mother only a step mom mistreating her, she became insecure, fragile , stubborn and hard to forgive and forget especially her past? How does one help here? I feel like western society makes it too tough to have a job, spouse, and family. I'm only working 9-5 now and it's tough. As a sikh woman, I've openly told my family and relatives that I have no intention on ever getting married because there are too many variables I don't want to deal with (as the woman in this video was aware) and I don't even have energy for the basics so why complicate life even further. My relatives have accepted it's not my time but they doubt I'll be alone forever. Although life begs to differ. It's been a weird journey for me thus far. I wasn't from india, but I moved to america and while there are a lot of Sikhs in my area, we really don't connect on the same level. There seems to be a HUGE difference in mindset. I've considered going outside of my race, but that doesn't work either... It seems I'm an outsider everywhere I go, and this issue extends past intimate relationships into platonic ones (such as friendship) as well. I honestly don't know how people can get into relationships because I've never even had someone look at me more than once and I'm almost 30 (but I've been in love twice), but I think if you can get into one, you're really lucky to even get to experience that aspect of yourself.

I completely understand how you feel. It's very common for some of our generation. I feel the same way. I got married at 23, but had problems in my marriage after few months. I moved to Australia after less than a year of marriage. I stayed apart from my wife and new born daughter for around five years. As I wasn't happy with my marriage, I wanted to desperately meet someone so I did but it wasn't really a right one and I still had to figure out what I wanted to do with my wife. I was honest whoever I met about my situation. Then I told my in laws about our marriage issues. They blackmailed me to put me into false dowry case. Then I brought them to Australia so that things may get better if not she has a chance to start a new life. But she hasn't learn enough English so hasn't found a proper job in 6 years . It's really frustrating. And I have already seen the western world, I don't think I really fit well in there either. I think it's the price of living in two cultures. But am grateful I had some good experiences in life. Eventually life will have some direction for me I hope. Good luck you too

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh.. bhai ji I m in lot of pain, I have developed religious ocd , and the reason of this is that I was in contact with a person , who claimed himself to be a Hindu spiritual person, he put lots of veham in my mind regarding meditation like “a person shouldn’t think bad about meditation and shouldn’t let bad thoughts comes to one’s mind while worshipping otherwise a person will be punished” I do understand that it’s not a good thing to think such thoughts, but the more I try to control my mind, and not to think particular thoughts, it comes more, due to all this, I m not able to do path, I really want to do path, but whenever I try to do path, of negative thought comes in my mind and get really terrified and become anxious, can u suggest me something so I can do path without getting anxiety, I will be grateful to u👏🏻
