Marshall headphones restoration

Hi my friends,
I decided to restore my old pair of headphones with genuine leather. It's my first work with leather.. but it was very relaxing and enjoying!
Give my some piece of advice or suggestion, they're welcome!

Great handcrafted headset. I like to work with my hands, this video gived me a lot o satisfaction. I will surely do the same with my Marshall monitor II bluetooth version

Since you are doing some good leather DIY, wouldn't be great if you can make leather ear cushions? More durable don't you think?

Hi, what are the dimensions of the headband - length and width (in the widest and the most narrow place)? I'm trying to get a replacement headband for a no name headphones.. many thanks! [edit] and which Marshall model is this?

I got a marshall monitor 2. This is how it should be made in the first place. The fake leather they use nowadays wears out so quick and it’s not an easy replacement. With real leather it will last a lifetime.

Because they don’t invest in a real piece of leather. They go for temporary comfort instead of lifetime durability

wow.. you should do this professionally. All Marshall headphones have leather tarred for the headband, and the cushion both. I have two headphones with me and I don't know what to do with them. Is there a way to get it done from you?

They are not glued , there is a external mechanism

That's about 8000 times nicer than any material Zound Industries would dare put on Marshall branded headphones. Their acoustic design isn't terrible but the quality consciousness isn't really up there. Pity it got bunched up at the bottom. Wonder if there's avoiding that?

I would!! I love handcrafting so I decided to do it by myself but if i wasnt able i would have bought a new pair because it is very time consuming!!

Отличная работа! Но думаю цена такой реставрации будет намного выше стоимости этих наушников на сегодняшний день. Хотя у меня самого такие же наушники и та же проблема. мое решение - обмотаю черной изолентой ( tape) и буду использовать только дома!
