Hey guys!
Over 3 dates in 2022 & 2023, I visited the Marshall Street crossing on the Hurstbridge Line in Melbourne's North East. Over the last decade the crossing has recieved multiple upgrades, all at different times. Starting in late 2016 with the last operational Metro Network Teardrop & Hybrid bell being replaced by General Signals E-Bells, then later in 2021 the McK&H Incandescents being replaced by the Westinghouse LED's, then exactly a year later the WRRS Gate Mechanisms replaced by WCH Gate Mechanisms. However, this video is about the before and after of the gate mechanism replacement.
Before upgrade, the crossing had:
