+Adventurekid hi bro! First of all, you can download the demo version of fl studio. It doesn't have all the functionalities of the full fl studio software, but it will allow you to get started quickly! I don't really know about free alternatives - I can make one if you want. I made a video about my favorite free vst plug-ins, btw ! Cheers
