So...you kids heard of that app called TikTok? I don't use it, but apparently...a bunch of young Smash players do. And the "epic" clips and "broken" combos they like to share on there are certainly...something. Let's see just how good/bad these kids are.

Ackchully: the Medium version of Ken's AERIAL Shoryuken has the best knockback and less risk of falling out of it via SDI if compared with the Heavy Shoryu, due to its single hit, so that ken combo was indeed optimal

There's nothing wrong with wanting to turn you brain off (that's what most smash content is for me so it's not informational in any way) the issue is that app's design more than the people

Just so you know marss, the ken clip likely WAS optimal. A HEAVY shoryuken does LESS than a MEDIUM SHORKYUKEN when used midair. The medium shoryuken is also incredibly hard to use.

At 3:20 the Zelda did ONE good Zelda thing: She kicked DK into the phantom and the Phantom's body pushed DK back into spike range while having the hitstun to combo. Apart from that I agree with Marss.

Nah, bullying would be if he said "you're stupid" and this was the end of interaction, but im pretty sure he explains why clip was bad (so its constructive criticism) and even if he insults you he does it in a playful manner. Everyone has their own opinions, and if you think that your clip was cool and some random toxic trash-girl mainer who doesn't even play rivals that much calls your clip bad, why would you care?

I commented on tiktok video about the “top falcon” player the guy (king k rool) was fighting and how the “top falcon” was *just* pushing buttons. And the poster got all butthurt and they said “yeah…pushing buttons. That’s how you play the game.” And i said “i said JUST pushing buttons. No strat, no thought.” That interaction told me that tiktok smash community get super defensive when i wasn’t even talking about their gameplay.

assuming classical spike actually means anything, my guess is that its about how most "spikes" in ultimate are technically not spikes but are actually meteor smashes, but like the distinction doesn't matter nearly as much in ult as it does in melee. I dunno if zelda's dair is an example of a spike as opposed to a meteor smash, but if it is I assume thats what theyre referring to.
