The show is set in 1958 in Toledo, a small city in Spain. Marta and her family are the owners of a perfumery, where Fina works as a sale assistant. Fina's family and Marta's know each others and are in good terms since they were kids. Marta is married but her husband works as a doctor in the navy so he's always around the world and they never see each others.

PLEASE someone write a slowburn au about these two on ao3, set in the modern/current times. Will take any plot you come up with, but keeping this sort of age difference and one of them married (or just in a relationship) to a man isn't discouraged. Tbh a woman leaving a man for another woman is one of my favourite tropes. So is an age difference between a wlw pairing (+ wlm pairings with the woman being older). I'm sure there are talented writers among us watching this and commenting, so people please just give it a try😭 I want a way to enjoy this beautiful couple without being affraid of the inevitable consequences them having fallen in love with each other has in this time period.. And I know there are many others who feel the same way, making the possible fic a certain hit already
