Marta Kristen was awesome...her mountain climbing story cracked me up! Loved to hear about her being adopted into a loving family at age 5, and then currently writing and doing the art for children's book, based on her childhood experiences (Coming soon!) I too had a crush on "Judy Robinson" as a kid watching Lost in Space, and still do! Good luck with your book!

As of this commenting, I’m 68 years old and I must say my profound, lifelong crush was with Angela Cartwright. Judy was just a little too old for me, but from the time I saw Angela in the sound of music till this very day I hold a crush for Angela. Hard to believe that June Lockhart is now 98 years old. I checked periodically and hope that she’s still among the living as we just lost Mark Goddard in October. And I must say I miss Jonathan Harris. I love everything he ever did. Peace.

This movie is brilliantly absurd! It has just become one of my favorite all time B-movies. Truly an exercise in creative film making considering: a. Someone took a completed film b. Added voice over and new dubbed dialogue to give it a new storyline c. Added footage of Mamie Van Doran and other attractive young ladies (Malibu) in mermaid-type bellbottoms to "spice it up" for a '60's viewing audience. Groovy soundtrack too! Pretty esoterically cool imo!

I remember seeing this on TV back in the 70's. I was very young and cried when poor John the Robot died while attempting to save the humans. So many childhood trauma CF reminds me of. Thanks for keeping my shrink in business! LOL

The original or the cut up Roger Corman version are watchable but the main star is the sound track. Everytime it played on tv its soundtrack would put me in a trance. Decades have now passed but the soundtrack still gets you. There 's not too many of these movies around so for lots of us its gold. Again, love the haunting soundtrack and Marta Kristen looks great. Lost in space, another treasure they cant re-create...miss Dr. Smith.

Roger Corman made another film using Planeta Bur. It as Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet. He was quite the showman.

The scenes of Venus were very accurate for the time.( Venus is very rocky with and dark clouds with winds of 400-2,000 miles per hour.)

Martha had to be among the cast who was among the least use in lost in space. She had nothing to do. Sadly what started out as an adventure family show became the Dr. Smith show.
