Tossing a wake and rooster tail like that is a dead give away to its location, the use of water jets to keep a lower surface profile might be a better option. Beyond the main camera adding two or three more to give you better spatial awareness would be better. Also, a gyro stabilization system would be critical for better camera shots at range. If you wanted to get super sneaky you could make it semi-submersible and give it a telescoping camera / periscope like set up so it has next to no surface detection at all.

1. water jets are the exact same in those conditions and often put off way more wake. 2. I clearly saw multiple cameras. 3. Why would you assume it doesn't have an internal gimbal or digital stabilization that FLIR or GoPro uses? 4. Do you understand the extra engineering it would take to do that? Why do you assume they didn't think of that? Unmanned subs have existed for MANY years and are obviously not the target market for this product or they would have made it like that. You are so poorly educated in this field I thought I would help.

Gostaria de participar do próximo projeto , um ponto negativo que observei , foi ter as hélices na superfície debaixo da embarcação ficando vulnerável à plantas aquáticas. Eu faria de outro modo ( ! )

BTW, this might be harder to spot if it had a transparent hull. e.g. see kzfaq.info/get/bejne/edlnesuYprOaoJc.html Also, maybe its IR signature possibly can be reduced by spraying sea water over it the deck so as to better match the ocean temperature.
