Joan wrote a book called 'Bouncing Back' that I've read every time hardship came my way. her funny stories and good advise helped me transition into going forward again. her book felt like a big warm hug and oddly enough, I felt like she was my friend. so yes, I miss Joan...she helped me deal with alot💝 RIP dear lady

Joan always looked so elegant, but she was dressed to the nines here and looked just Beautiful! Loved how she started snoring at Martha's explanation of her daily routine, just Hilarious! All kidding aside I have much respect for Martha and her business sense! Both of these two "Powerhouse"Ladies are self-made and never needed a male figure to succeed. Joan will always be "Unforgettable! "

It really felt important when Joan made it a big point to take the woman's phrasing of "...as a woman..." and told her to completely abandon that kind of thinking. I loved that. She was 100% right-- it's about ideas and drive and creativity, not about if one is a woman or man. Words of wisdom.

I love Joan. I watched a few episodes from the new season of fashion police and it's just not the same without Joan. She had that quick wit about her that made everybody crack up. Thank you Martha Stewart for putting this video up.

Joan and Martha both have and are able to be inspirational to lots of both women and men,, Marthas talent with crafts, cooking, gardens, holiday decorating, sewing,, joans related mainly to the women,,, but they have a positive and creative talent to motivates people.. Who needs maybe a prep talk.

3:13 Almost ALL interviews I've seen with extremely successful women say that. Forget the, "as a woman" trap. They don't complain about "glass ceilings," etc. ...no special favors, or token promotions. If you're good, you'll make it. And companies will WANT you AND promote you - NOT because you're a woman, but because you are GOOD at what you do.

The only celebrity death were I sobbed like a baby for hours. I miss her so much, still to this day I tear up. Go listen to Howard's Stern's tribute to her, it was so good. What a wonderful woman, all those nasty jokes yet she was full of love and compassion in real life.

What a progressive answer... "don't say woman. Just do it." "I don't talk about glass ceilings etc..." we have really regressed from that. Now its all about what tiny category you fit into. Its ridiculously regressive.
