As an African living in Ireland for 9 years, I would never vote for a foreign candidate. I believe it takes you more than a life to understand Irish people habits, culture, traditions, intrinsics, way to see life, relationships, values, etc. I am here for almost 10 years, still adapting, still learning. How come someone from abroad (be it African, Indian, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Eastern European, South American, etc.) would represent or be able to effectively run any public responsibility role? It is strange to me this self hate I notice from white people.🤷🏾‍♂️
