1990 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, Martin Brundle, discusses what it takes to win the prestigious endurance race. One of the most iconic race cars in history, the Group C Silk Cut Jaguar XJR-12, took victory at the 58th Grand Prix of Endurance after 359 laps from #3 teammates Martin Brundle, John Nielsen & Price Cobb.

Could listen to Martin talk about motorsport for hours, one of my best memories is watching him at Goodwood driving Adrian Newey's E Type Jag, going through Woodcoote corner. Entering at a speed on a completely different level to everyone else and just drifting it through.

He is a racing God always followed Martins career , and he makes F1 commentary gridwalks a pure joy to listen too -such a wealth of knowledge - enjoy his interviews and how he can get info out of team bosses and drivers! he makes the experience so much more inclusive!

Martin was RAPID in Sports Cars. Check out his IMSA racing at Lime Rock in the Jags....on a very dangerous and unsuitable circuit. Fearless. One of my favorite drivers of all time.

No more “dangerous” than other circuits of that era…Watkins Glen for example was no safer. Steel Armco… in places not enough runoff. Lime Rock had that abrupt uphill which was wonderful to watch….as these GTPs crested the hill.

@@MNPDC Yeah, you are right. You can find the race online where they finally had to make a chicane around that hill because of the "catching air" danger.

@@AmericasChoice That hill caused more Porsche 911s to go airborne then sideways. Lime Rock was small and not too dangerous, Ha. I remember watching Richard Petty out of his element absolutely drive all over the track during one with race Mustang/Camaro/Charger , etc. races. Fun stuff. Those days were when many / most of the Le Mans drivers would show up at Lime Rock in one car or another.

Brilliant video. I don't know enough about this. I know all of Martin's F1 career but this side wasn't freely available on TV. I'm sorry I missed it because I love Circuit de la Sarthe and MB.

As a driver, will you get the onboard footage of your driving if you request it from the team? Do you have your onboard footage from all of the races through out your career?
