cesar saldana you don't understand, this is almost completely out of his control now. he obviously isn't that smart because no kid or agent (lol his dad) who was actually looking out for his future would accept to get paid more than half the senior team members at madrid when he's only 16 and never played a single game at the senior level. the expectation from the fans, media, board of directors at madrid, and coaching staff are way too damn high now. you don't pay 80,000 pounds a week for a player that's just good, they are going to expect him to perform the way messi did for him to not be dismissed to some lower tier team then forgotten completely before he even turns 20. he went for the money and dream move knowing damn well he wasn't even close to being ready for the spotlight and a team like madrid. it's going to come back and bite him in the ass. he's a good player and has great potential but he let everyone set the bar way too damn that even a player like messi couldn't have lived up to those expectations that age. it took ronaldo and messi a good bit of time to become the players they are now, odegaard won't be afforded that luxury of having time to develop because he's getting paid 80,000 pounds of week, almost 3 times what raheem sterlng was making last year.
