I am honored to have won the 2024 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Troubadour Competition and to have won this beautiful new D-28 guitar. It's a really fantastic instrument, and I thought some bluegrass would be appropriate.
This is a great old Bill Monroe song about losing a companion animal. Like so many bluegrass songs it sounds happy but is actually sad. It's got a lot of great yodels in it too.
