I love how Martin Li's redemption was done, he is one of the good guys now, but isn’t off the hook and Miles doesn’t forgive him for what he did. But he turns himself in, and answers for his crimes and doesn’t expect or want forgiveness. He’s honestly my favorite Spider-Man villain in recent memory. If a TASM 3 with Andrew Garfield ever gets made, I’d love for Mister Negative to be the villain of that movie, because I think he would bounce off of and contrast with that version of Peter in a very interesting way.

“Reforming your greatest enemy…can’t say I have ever done that.” Dang he still feels horrible he couldn’t change Dr. Octavious to the man he once was.

Martin Li helped Peter and now Peter is using his new powers from Li to help everyone. “When you help someone, you help everyone.”

The way Miles says "Pete" at 6:27. You can feel just how sad he was finding out how much blame Peter really puts on himself for everything bad that happens to everyone around him.

4:55 The delivery of this line had to have been the best in the game man. I felt that! Hearing Miles sound this mature and focused really makes me wish they fully dropped the whole “Kid” thing per se. His delivery is better overall in this game but he still sounds and emotes in very “kiddish/innocent” ways sometimes. Sometimes it’s hard to take him seriously but then you get scenes like this and it’s like you remember that Miles ain’t a kid. He’s a Young Man with some grit to him. It’s definitely better this game though, hope to see his voice get deeper overall now that he’s actualized himself as a Spider-Man more.

6:11 is nobody gonna talk about the voice acting from Yuri here? I nearly cried at this part. Breaks my heart to see Peter like this.

Forgiveness is not saying that you forget everything bad done to you or justifying or excusing it. It’s simply letting go of your pain and negative emotions. Not letting them consume you.

I loved this scene so much. Even people like Martin Li deserve a second chance. He's so much stronger inside than I thought at first. Miles morales really an OG for Turning his greatest enemy into someone who can actually face what they've done. It's just so inspiring. 🔥

What I like about this interpretation of Anti Venom, is the idea that Mr. Li’s negative energy and Venom’s…well…*Venomous* personalities are so alike, that the moment the negative energy makes contact with the traces of the symbiote still in Peter’s blood: the two negatives are effectively cancelled out. Effectively giving Peter control over the symbiote.

I like how martin li redeemed himself to save peter.... but what i dont understand is this..... at this point i feel like li is aware that peter is spiderman but throughout this whole game, it doesnt seem like he showed any reaction to that knowledge. there are a few points where i feel like he should be quite suprised, like when miles yelled peters name out during the mind battle with mister negative or when li and miles together entered aunt mays home while in peters mind.... he didnt showed any reaction once or even brought it up. like huh?

So I'm kinda confused by this scene, specifically when Miles unmasks himself. Miles says to Li, "I won't forgive you," but then says he won't hold any hatred towards Li and offers him a fresh start between the two before shaking his hand. This feels like the equivalent of the Batman Begins scene where Bruce says to Ra's Al Ghul, "I won't kill you, but I don't have to save you." Basically just letting Ra's Al Ghul go to his death in a fiery explosion, as if that's really any different than killing Ra's Al Ghul himself. Miles says he won't forgive Li, but the definition of forgiveness is letting go of the hatred and animosity you hold towards the other person. It's like the difference in the two statements is so negligible, it might as well not be there. Even if Miles said otherwise, I believe Miles truly did forgive Li.

If you wanted to save.doc ock Peter needs to realize that there's more to superhero. Work, then just beating up the bad guys. Peter needs to learn how to truly save a life
