I was there, two years ago, me and my husband were in the panda baby area, got to hold a baby panda, one of the best days of my life

Are the treated good with lots of living space? Bet it was expensive to go see them?

It is quite cheap to enter the giant panda base to watch them. But hugging them and taking photo with them is expensive. And the time for hug activity is just 1/2 hour per day in the morning

Actually they pay quite well for looking after pandas. I 've seen job advert and it was 30 000 a year plus provision.

I've been in quarantine for almost 4 weeks... My stress has been awful working from home/office sometimes , firing people in my job, listening bad news everyday, but honestly to watch those beautiful pandas make me smile and laugh actually 😁 Thank you 🐼 I hope this covid nightmare gets to end soon...

They are not pet, they are national treasure! Surely they are cute, but they don't belong to any individual. You can pay to sponsor any individual panda but not to own one personally.

I remember when the Panda species was endagered. China had a couple and a number of attempts were made towards pregnancy. Finally a she bear went to full term and the excitement went global. A baby was born and the rest is history. Later, a few even travelled to various countries. They are so incredibly fun to watch. So grateful they didn't go the way of the Dodo bird.

Most expensive animals in the world. I’m glad the Nannies doing their job by keeping them safe and healthy. Imagine their lives will be shorter and miserable as a pet. Would be awesome to cuddle with one in this cold weather lol
