If you ever get the chance to listen to Martin Shaw tell stories in person, didn't pass it by! It is worth it. What an experience meeting and listening to you both at the SW Summit. Really enjoyed this convo.

So much wisdom with Martin, would take a legendary amount of time to unpack everything that man understands. Hopefully we get him on again!

Great to hear you talk with Martin - he is a real force of nature! Excellent questions. It is a wonder to see what is happening in the world as connections are made and the spirit is expanding through and beyond "this little corner of the internet" , as Paul Vanderklay would say. So exciting to be a part of it as we watch it unfold and cheer you on.

This setup looks so much better. You're closer to the camera, and you aren't looking down the whole time. And the focus got fixed. And I can't wait to hear the interview. Great work, FTF team!

Good talk, I liked how Martin hinted at the "moreness" of myth.

Two gents that I’ve wanted to see talk! Martin has a great Substack that I listen to and my girlfriend and I had just recently had an amazing experience at Keipi in Greenville. This is providential :)

Dig the podcast. Anyone know a good starter book on Orthodox anthropology?

39:45 What Robert Bly and Joseph Conrad described as seeking the gaze of the (archetypal) king. We have lost that in losing any sort of initiatory rite.
