In the WTA, winning the Sunshine Double is an even bigger test of endurance than winning a grand slam. It involves playing matches almost every day for 12 matches (or if you’re not seeded, 14 matches) over 2 weeks. To win a grand slam you need to win 7 matches over 2 weeks, often with a day’s break in between matches. Hope Elena can pass this test of endurance.

We are now witnessing the rise of Elena's paramountcy in the making...A star is born before our eyes..Her accomplishment attributed to her high inteligence which separate her from other top players, but she could have not done this without her self - reliance to meet the arduous challenges in individual sport such as tennis and ultimately produced a desirable pattern of behavior most suitable to her game resulting a favorable results in tennis competition..Her flawless performance is written all over..What an athlete she is becoming..Quiet, but well composed in executing her game plan to the best of her ability .. Inspiring in a sense that she created an enjoyable and pleasurable atmosphere whenever she' s present in on and off the court..Remarkable athlete!! Congratulations Elena!

It's incredible you can Martina had no plan to stop it. Especially in that second set. Kinda felt bad for Martina she was totally outclassed and got bullied the entire match. Rybakina didn't even break a sweat whipping her the way she did. It's kinda embarrassing to be the underdog and get beaten up like one.

This was even more easier than against Elise Mertens. Martinas "game-plan" broke completely into pieces at the beginning of 2nd set. Her unforced errors stepped up and somehow you know that Elena has nothing more to do than just holding her (maybe) 75% level. Comparing this match with first two ones it was like a sparing match for Elena Rybakina. She is still not at her full level but today her opponent helps her a lot. It's not her fault that it was such an "easy" match but for the rest of the tournament she needs to step up a bit. She can do this as seen in the past tournaments. The rest of the WTA should be a bit worried cause Elena Rybakina learns with every tournament she plays. Anyhow ... after Miami I would give her the advice to take a rest. If you overplay you raise the risk of getting injured. But I'm more than confident she learned this lection already. Elena Rybakina is maybe the fastest learning player right at the moment and still among the top 5 world-wide (if not more . It's interesting to see if she is able to keep up this level on clay).

Yeah Martina made it too easy for Rybakina to win I think Rybakina didn't even break a sweat. While Martina was over working herself for nothing. This was a quick and calm butt whooping from Rybakina.

If she is consistently dominant and successful, new players will try to emulate her, so yeah. i expect those young players from Kazakhstan whom she supports in their development to emulate her. If only all top 10 players don't grunt, shriek, or moan, the new generation of players will surely be like Iga, Rybakina, Pegula and Barbora.
