For people who say “it’s just makeup”, no it’s not, it’s something we pay for. It’s not a high priority is more accurate. Our time and energy has value and it’s compensated for with money. We are allowed to have expectations that what we purchase matches the amount spent.

I loved this format video! Thank you for revisiting these palettes and giving your honest review. I also love the Natasha Denona INAN palette. She is a basic palette that is high quality and I love it! The Chanel Eclat de Nuit quad is fantastic. The Dior smoky essentials surprised me! I love this one!

I don’t have all the palettes you have and the rose inc was first time I’ve seen, but I agree with all your comments. Rabanne palette I love and need to pull back out since haven’t worn in a while. Good review video.

Your eyeshadow look is stunning!!!! Also, I think it’s charming when you can clearly see use in a creator’s palettes because at least there is purpose to them, even if just swatches.

Rando thought: an amazing base for my Chanel quads has been the Danessa Myricks Ground Work palette! I have problems with longevity with Chanel eye shadows, but the ground work pomades really act like a glue for Chanel shades. 💛

I bought the green Rabanne eyeshadow palette. It's incredibly good. I also bought a plum lipstick by them that had a beautiful unique tone. Very impressed!!

I appreciate you focused on newish palettes this time rather than older palettes. Although older can still be helpful and interesting to see what your husband is attracted to, focusing on palettes from within the last year probably picks up more people who just haven’t bought the releases straight away.

I missed out on the Chanel Rivage palette, but consoled myself with the Eclat de Nuit palette and I'm not sorry. It is even more lovely in person. I also realized that the Dior Eden Roc palette from last year satisfied my "neutral with a pop of blue" needs. And then you showed us that Rabanne palette with the silvery blue and now I have to re-assess whether I should grab that one too. Sigh. Thanks for sharing.

I had no desire to get the Dior palette or even look at it. But it was near the counter when I checked out at Sephora today and I swatched it. It was in my basket in 2 seconds. So happy you mentioned it! It is so beautiful and truly all except the lightest shade, maybe the second lightest are one and domes. I’ve tried them all. 😂

Mario Bronx Baby lipstick is the most perfect lipstick color I have ever owned by itself or with neutral eyeshadows is gorgeous. it goes with I Need A Nude so well & DIOR Smokey Essentials and the My Dream blush pallet it’s my favorite 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

I have all the motherships. I was super disappointed by sunlit seduction like you when I saw it but it quickly became my most reached for palette! The colors are surprisingly flattering on my warm olive complexion and I use all of them which is rare for a mothership. I do miss her baked shades still though!! I’m glad I got it but totally understand why you don’t love it. Thanks for sharing!

Love your eyelook today!!! Love the purple and Love when you do color!! It's so pretty!! I actually like the Pat Mcgrath Sunlit Seduction. It's not mybfavorite palette and I only bought it to complete my collection. Yes I'm a completionist😂 I had low expectations and wasn't impressed when I opened it. But when I started doing looks with it, I loved every single one!! It's not my favorite palette by any means and I honestly think if someone has never tried PatMcgrath that this one would be great for a first palette. I didn't have any issues with the special shades and you are correct, they don't even compare to her OG special shades but I think this is where the brand is going now and we won't be seeing baked shades anymore. I'm so disappointed and wish PM had more say on the direction of her brand. I haven't been impressed either lately. Ok so enuff of PM, I did guess the others. And for me natasha Denona INAN I probably wouldn't purchase again. I had beautiful looks but they all kinda looked so similar and were ok. The shimmers didn't impress me either. Yes Indie brands are where it's at with shimmers and special shades for sure. Now the Yucca Palette is gorgeous! I do need to try the Robanne palettes but I guess I'm kinda waiting for them to come out with a 9 or 12 pan eyeshadow palette. I never use quads... like ever. But they are soooo beautiful and I have swatched instore and they swatch beautifully. Same with Prada and Chanel. I need a bigger palette with more variation. I don't remember the last time I even used one of my TF or Dior quads/quints. I'm hoping they come out with larger palettes. When they do I'll definitely be on board! Now that Byredo palette is calling me! It looks so pretty and I've never tried Byredo.

I have both of the Chanel quads. I like them both, but I use the rivage more just because it’s more day time friendly on my eyes. My favourite Chanel quad is Tisse Rivoli. Sadly I don’t dip into my PMG palettes as much now that I’m 50. I prefer soft satin eyeshadows. I bought the ND nude palette but it was too rosy for me. There were a couple of taupes that were ok but otherwise I wish I hadn’t bought it.

To hear you apologizing multiple times for offering your opinion when you’re not too impressed with an item (for example the mothership palette).. I find it sad people feel the need to comment so negatively online on anything and anyone these days. And for the people saying “It’s just makeup”; then why click on a makeup video? Love your content Martina! Please don’t let negativity bother you. I like an honest opinion. Helps me make well thought buying decisions. And if I love something you don’t really get along with that’s fine. It’s just makeup ;)

People should not get in hissy if a brand does not agree with a person and are tired of the same color story. These brands are making ALOT of money, and don’t care as long as they make/take your money but are not listening to the consumer.

Stop apologizing for your makeup pallets looking “messy”. They aren’t messy they are used, which is the reason you purchased them. I prefer seeing them looking used because it tells me that you really enjoy the pallet and you aren’t just pushing a product. (Not to say it can’t be clean and u genuinely love it).
