Here's my favorite ones: - Windows 8 [I like how they teach users how to use new start screen, as well of colorful loading screen. - Same with Windows 8.1, but sad to see teaching to use start screen removed. Build 8330 is kinda funny, "Content coming soon".

I know it's not a login screen, but I really enjoy the "Preparing to start Windows for the first time" screen that Windows 95 showed right after you finish installing it.

@@GordonFreemanOnly If you're installing Windows in a virtual machine, you're probably using an HDD and a Celeron processor and given the virtual machine too much RAM If you're installing Windows on a real computer, you're probably using 1 GB of RAM and a Celeron processor

The first versions of Windows had a black screen before the desktop actually appeared with a box on the top left corner with the animation of a rolling drum and the message "Applying personal settings", after some updates, the remainder of this screen (only the box without the drum animation) still appears today ;-D

Windows Vista was the most beautiful operating system made by Microsoft. Everything before it is ugly and everything after 7 is a bad design decision.

It is hoped that finally Win 11 will become as beautiful in design as Vista. And I'm the only one who regrets that they didn't release Win 9? Let's rewind time and dream, Win 7, Win 8, Win 9, Win 10, Win 11, Win 12 And also Win 10 Mobile, Win 11 Mobile

they skipped windows 9 because MS was scared the programs and software would think they are running Windows 95/98

@@someguywithmtndew5691 thats not true as the programs actually detect OS via NT version rather than name, the real reasons is because of marketing-related, simply Windows 10 sounds probably cooler and more latest to some people. Not only that, most modern programs released, even around 2014-2015 doesnt have a way to detect Windows 95/98 anyway as these OS are already obsolete, plus doesnt even rely on detecting by name instead of NT version or OS version, sometime based on DOS version such as 7.x (Win95/98) to 8.0 from Win ME, they only detect anything from WinXP and onwards.
