The art team of Windows Vista should be proud of themselves. They built one of the most beautiful operating systems that have ever existed.

They were both the primary OS'es in my days and it is lovely to see a comparison of both, which I equally grew up with

Windows XP is toy blue while Vista is glass green. I like how almost every version of windows is unique from each other.

I remember the XP back in Elementary school. and at Kindergarten I saw Windows 2000 when we play some games if one of our pictures shows in the screen to know which is our turn. I forgot what it's called because it's been a long time. My dad brought a used PC which had a mouse which we could only move the cursor with a red ball it had and it was Windows XP and it had the log on screen that I remember in school. My dad throw it away and a few months we had Windows Vista. I did liked the design of the UI. but I never heard people talking about how bad it was before since I was still young and I didn't know about computers that much. I always used it to play online games that used to run in flash player. R.I.P. Abode Flash Player

vista may be hated . But for me , it made my childhood with games like Purble place . Those days

Windows Vista compared to XP felt like a completely different OS.

I’ve always preferred the Vistas GUI than XP’s just because the design, the GUI for XP to me looked pretty ugly, it looks like a Fisher Price design (funny because that GUI was nicknamed for that design), while Vista uses the more glassy and beautiful design that was inspired early from Mac OS X Public Beta (2000)

Windows Vista was beyond beautiful, the design evolution was incredible. It had a somewhat dark atmosphere just as nostalgic as Windows XP. Such a shame it ended up being known as one of the worst things they ever did.

Both are my favorite OSes (And Windows 7 as well), but I have to say that Vista has the most beautiful UI ever made.

I am on windows xp team and i used to be on vista but now I'm on xp bc I have an xp pc

XP was all about nostalgia and simplicity. The reason Vista was so hated because it killed that nostalgia. It was also filled with bloatware which was tedious to remove.

Windows xp is better on all aspects Windows Vista is pretty much Cool. But some instabilities occur.
