Thats the Irony of The Walking Dead. The Protagonist is much more crazy and radical than the Antagonist. The Antagonist saves people, unites a bunch of “City-States”, and brings peace to the people. The Protagonist kills a father(Pete). The Antagonist refuses to kill a father because he can’t bear the fact a son has to go through that.

Fun fact: Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the actor who plays Negan, actually lost his voice from having to redo the scene so many times. So the line where he says "your people are making me lose my voice" was improvised in.

I’m still in the frame of mind that Negan never hated Rick he could see what he could do wiping an out an entire outpost teaching Rick a lesson and when spencer wanted Rick dead he got angry he knew that Carl needed his Dad and Negan knew Rick was a valuable asset to his empire (much like the Governor with Merle) but I wish Rick and Negan got that latter arc when they could of been frenemies

No it doesn't, lol. Carl and sis were not starving. This was Negan fucking with Rick on a whole other level. He went INTO RICK'S HOUSE. Rifled through his stuff. Picked up his secret daughter. Cooked in his kitchen, fed his kids and pissed in his bathroom. Don't get confused, this was not him being nice, to anyone.
