Hi Martin, as you probably already know Filipinos tend to have a very close relationship with their family. When I go visit my relatives in Bicol I meet 4th and 5th degree cousins that I don’t even know but my Mom tells me that tit is very important to recognize them because they are family. And they are, and they always make me and my hubby feel welcome. You are now part of Ave’s extended family whether you like it or not.

I shed tears watching you interviewing Lola.... I miss my Lola too who died at the age of 92 in California...her last word for me is that... If she dies in the states we will bring her home here in the Philippines...

Engaged MarVe ❤️💍 w MamaLovinit visited Ave’s grandma on her 81st bday at her renovated bahay kubo. MamaLovinit was also there. They also visited other relatives. Happy excited saw again a big butanding or whale shark . Martin had fun w all of Ave’s family.

Mahalo Martin for showing the Bicol region. My grandmother who I never met was from there. She traveled to Kauai, Hawai'i in the early 1930's. My dad said she had a strict upbringing there and imposed the same "rules" on her children as well. She was the only one in the family that traveled from the Philippines that refused to get Naturalized in the U.S. as she was told that the Plantation Owners would bring them back. The realization of never returning to her Motherland hurt her. I watched your video with pride and sadness as I wish she and my Grandfather could see the beauty of Bicol.

U speak Tagalog better now and you are adopted to like and eat as well as filipino foods.This vlog is really2x goox for it features the CLOSE FAMILY TIES AS WELL AS THE HOSPITALITY OF THE FILIPINOS . I like the interview portion to Ave's grandma's and im proud of her that at the age of 81 she's still beautiful , smart and can speak English fluently and her cooking skills, just like AVE. Yes, finally the wait is over. This is another refreshing vlog with you and Ave spending the weekend in Bicol to celebrate her Lola's birthday. I love seeing you and Lola Priscilla having a conversation . . . you made her happy and as what Ave said in IG you are his favorite now. I admired Ave's Lola. She's still beautiful and very energetic at age of 81. She looks like 18 yrs 😘😘😘hope I will be like her when I grow old. I'm also a bicolana from Prieto Diaz Sorsogon. A beautiful place to stay relax and have a simple and stress free life.
