May be I can agree if we say that this are the "baritones" that nowdays we have: Tenors with big and dark voices but with lack of technique that not allow them (nevere learned or where teached) to sing beyond the passaggio (F,F#,G). So, they have to become "lyric bariontes", "Barytone Martin" or any other "kind" of bariutone that teachers invented to "resolve" problems.

Il grande Martinucci canta ancora ma poco, sopratutto come protagonista secondario non perchè manca di voce, ma perchè è abbastanza vecchio. cmq sono d'accordo, basta tenori stranieri! dateci i tenori italiani con la tecnica di un tempo!!

@MegaSiegmund Io sarò anche tra la gentaccia,ma dopo trent'anni di carriera lirica come tenore sento di poter dire che, se Martinucci non fosse continuamente calante (questo tentativo di do di petto è quasi un si naturale, oltre tutte le altre note calanti presenti in questo video...) probabilmente sarebbe più credibile. Purtroppo si sta a discutere sulle voci ma mai sulla tecnica.La voce è lo strumento, e può essere bellissima, ma anche uno Steinway, se scordato, non è ascoltabile!

al mio pianoforte accordato da poco risulta in tono perfetto di do, ma che il do sia leggermente calante cosa importa?, io sento ancora una bellissima voce, purtroppo Martinucci aveva modelli secondo me sbagliati, e poi la fonazione un po' forzata gli costava in scena un calo quasi ad ogni recita...ma in tutti casi è un ottimo professionista e soprattutto è l'unico finora che affronta dal vivo quest'aria con tutte le note...non è poco.

Non mi ha mai convinto del tutto...a volte fiati corti, a volte calante...la voce è bella ma non lo vedo un cantante sicuro rispetto ad altri suoi colleghi della scuola di Marcello del Monaco...opinione personale
