I grew up with Marty in Laurel md.....watched him play literally in a wooden barn with the group deuce..........it was an incredible experience watching him play at 14 years old to 18

Shame we have to watch Jordan playing the rhythm while Marty makes one of the best beginnings of any solo just off camera to the left. Thank you for the excellent video and the good quality.

I am unfortunately not that familiar yet with Marty's backing guitarist, but that will change after having watched this video. The dude knows how to play, and his phrasing is beautiful. Heck, it does kinda sound like he is learning some stuff from Marty, since you can definitely hear lots of Marty's style in his solos. Heck, even the vibrato and the hair, lol. It seems like we have a "Teacher - Student" situation going on.

I forgot his name, but you can find it on Jackson's youtube page. He's credited with writing the demo's for their import models. Watch those videos and you should see his name at the end of them if I remember correctly.
