I've heard El Paso a million times, but first time I have heard this song...I also was not expecting that ending.

Glad you are doing more of Marty Robbins. You did the first song "El Paso" a few days ago. "Feleena (From El Paso) is the 2nd part sequel of the story & there is a 3rd part called "El Paso City". Marty Robbins intended to do one more sequel “The Mystery Of Old El Paso" but he died in late 1982 before he could finish writing the final song.

"I was looking at lyrics but I could see the whole thing" Exactly what a perfect song should do. You can read the lyrics and just picture the story genuinely and easily in your own head. lady your face is so charismatic. You showed the emotion Marty Robins wanted everyone to feel. I thought and felt the same so many years ago. I am from the UK so imagine my taste in music going to school with everyone who based their lives on top of the pops. In the 1970's. A time i loved Johnny cash, Marty Robbins. Charley Pride, Dolly Parton. And so on. Country sings about life. Now if you want look up green fields of France. Not country but the principle is spot on. You will cry.

Good reaction video to this awesome song!!!! As you probably been told about a ga-billion times, this song is part of a TRILOGY. However, an "unofficial" additional song to this trilogy would be "7 Spanish Angels" by Ray Charles & Willie Nelson and really should be listened to after "Feleena". In "7 Spanish Angels", Feleena picks up her lover's empty gun, aims it the other cowboys, and they then shoot her to death.
