I love that solo. Every note David Gilmore hits sounds like it's supposed to be there. There are never too many notes nor are there ever not enough notes.

This solo is SO FUN DUDE. I can't stop playing all the individual licks, and then mashing them up with various chords, this solo, along with comfortably numb are super fun. I love the pink floyd stuff, seeing more in the future would be awesome.

Awesome lesson! Gilmour is one of my solo inspirations and this is one of his best! One of my favorite solos of all time actually. Thanks so much for putting this up!

Am I missing something? This is a two part solo, with a low key interlude in between. You played the first part-expertly, as always. But that first half, great as it is, is there to set up the second half, which is truly one of the great guitar statements of rock and roll history. This feels like you told half the riddle, but left out the punchline. Have you posted it and I just missed it?

i started learning the second part by ear. not so hard actually. same blues scale as the first half but many more high notes

I totally get where you’re coming from, it would be fucjing sick to have a Marty tutorial for the rest. But I think this is where we gotta earn it ourselves if we want to know it all. Piece it together from ear, tabs, other vids, etc and maybe we’ll learn something
