Are you guys trying to avoid criticism from viewers if you choose a car? You said a lot of strong points of Sonet. I too feel the same and so Sonet should obviously win this comparison. If you want a balanced car, choose the other petrol variant of Sonet instead. Less performance, better mileage. Simple math.

Safety wise... both the Indian spec Hyundai Venue as well as the KIA Sonet fared rather poorly in GNCAP tests. Surprisingly the older gen Brezza scored a very respectable 4 stars and going by owners' opinions of the new Brezza, the sheet metal as well as the whole body is even more solid and heavy. So definitely looking forward to the new Brezza's GNCAP ratings. In the case of the Venue and Sonet, what is the use of having all modern features in a car and yet having an unstable and thin bodyshell?

Brezza is the best all rounder in this segment. If someone is price concious, he could blindly go for the zxi variant and the decision could never go wrong.

Tata Nexon is the worst vehicle I've ever bought in my life. Lots of issues and service center staffs are useless and couldn't rectify the issues. They are just keeping the car and taking around 2 weeks to address the issue. Better to go with other brands. Being an erstwhile owner of Hyundai grand i10, the after sales service of Hyundai is no where equal to tata. The latter's after sales service is very very poor.

Hyundai venue and sonet are the worst on terms of back seat space. They are good for two passengers. Also they are not solidly built as they are based on platforms which have scored 3 stars . Brezza is based on older platform hence will score atleast 4 stars. Yes it is expensive but it's a balanced package

The truth is to be honest only brezza looks like suv from outside .

The safety ratings on Koreans is bound to be poor as they are built on the same platform as Seltos/Creta which barely scrapped a 3 star rating, and won't be close to what Venue achieved in ASEAN NCAP. As for Brezza, the safety ratings are from last gen and ideally shouldn't be quoted for current gen platform until confirmed by Global NCAP. In terms of interior space, Koreans again are the worst in the category and the XUV300 provide the most roomiest of experience followed by Nexon. The engine on Brezza is nothing to write about in terms of performance and despite Koreans having a good engine, they are let down by those slow to react DCTs. XUV300 again trumps everything in the category followed by Magnite/Kiger. And as for value for money, Brezza lost that in current iteration by being the most expensive petrol offering and the crown that Sonet held previously. The only value for money offerings in this category are Magnite/Kiger as everything else is simply too much money and are knocking the doors of next category of SUVs mid variants. Sub-4m comparos ideally should be done will all the players, as this win-win for all the contenders doesn't paint a wholesome true picture.
