1993 design..Just look at how charming it is...Somehow old Maruti designs like second gen 800, Gypsy,esteem,zen,omni never gets outdated..They always have a classic appeal..

I've had a Zen VXi since my childhood and I had to sell it in January. It was a gem of a car. I used to drive it even after having a Suzuki Swift 1st gen Diesel and a Honda City 4th gen diesel just because it was a sentimental car to me. It even had power windows at the front, the sound system was great with added speakers and I used cassettes till date for the Zen. I had my first crash in it, police caught me for the first time in my Zen and man, all those memories came rushing after seeing this! It is one heck of a car and I had the ultimate fun in it!

Proud owner of the small, Peppy Maruti Zen (2002 model) and still after 22 years it is in brilliant condition.. 😇 Even today my Love for Maruti zen and Maruti 800 is just something else.... 😍😍 And also missing your super enthusiastic vlog on this car which you had done long back!! 😥🤩🔥

I still have 2002 Zen in very good condition. Still holds on to the name Zero Engine Noise. One perfect city car, with small dimensions and enough power to move around.

Zen is the best budget project car which I ever owned. But had a lot of issue with the ac compressor on 2004 zen and also a lot of junk accumulation on the radiator. Overall a best budget project car for young enthusiasts. 👌

@@vishnupillai300 yes it is but I'm talking about overall build quality and fit and finishing all over the car in older Suzuki cars. Modern Suzuki's made in India cannot be the same and good as it was earlier and they don't offer any other new engines too.

@@ZLone93256 what about hybrid engine maruti is offering in Grand vitara??Its efficient,has decent performance and refined than diesels..Also new k10c dualjet engine is the best in class 1000cc NA engine in the entire industry..Far better than Tata and Hyundai engines..

@@vishnupillai300 I know the fact about how smooth and refined Japanese brands engines will be even it's lesser than 1000cc or having 3 cylinders. Even I'm a Japanese brand fanboi, the fact which we cannot digest is Suzuki going full cheap on interiors and bad quality. The hybrid offered in GV isn't that huge or extraordinary it's a small battery and it's offered by toyota not Suzuki's. I accept k10 engine used in their smaller cars are top notch in reliability, refinement and overall satisfaction. I'm just talking about their new hearttec platform developed for India which spoilt their whole image. Oh sorry Hyundai does make good engines their engines are smooth and reliable but I accept not Japanese level reliability but enough for any middle class buyers. Tata can invest in better r&d in their engines and improve their quality of control while production. Tata's have good handling, steering response and good suspension setup and excellent build quality but they miss out on giving good and powerful petrol engines and smoother AT gearboxes. The revtorq diesel engine is reliable and punchy enough but misses on good insulation and refinement. The harrier and safari use fiat engine and Hyundai's AT gearboxes so it is so smooth and has a good ride quality and power.

@@ZLone93256 mahindra is better than Tata in reliability and overall global acceptance..Tata still lacks reliability and is no where good in after sales service they provide..Maruti may be cheap but customer satisfaction wise its still no1..

Or maybe the Clutch Slave Cylinder has failed. Clutch ceasing to work when the engine is hot is a common indication of a worn out slave cylinder

Yeah another good looking car MUL screwed up was the Maruti 800 (the next model from the one that Maggie arrived) they redesigned it with wrap around headlights, tapering taillights, and an atrocious bumper mounted number plate.
