A great line in a great scene, but it really was all in the delivery. His sense of anguished fear that maybe he doesn't deserve Steve's faith in him, when that is all he has keeping him going. I'll always miss MCU Steve Rogers, but his legacy living on through Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes gives me life. Part of what made Steve such a good person was he was blessed to have to the two best friends a man could hope for, and now they have each other.

@@aliyanmehtab5018 I know on some levels these are still just silly punchmans films/shows, but they've given the characters so much time to breath and grow across multiple movies. We're long past the stage where the weight of the backstory, and how it is addressed and reassessed, combined with how it is interwoven, makes the MCU our generation's Beowulf or Illiad. I mean, we've been talking about how good and pure and decent Steve Rogers was. Then FatWS gets into the fact that even he didn't realise the truths that Isiah Bradley revealed to Sam. And that doesn't diminish Steve in any way, far from it. He was a man out of time who was also way ahead of his time in many ways. But the way that FatWS can have *even Zemo* appreciating that Steve was one of a kind, then looking beyond that and showing a secret Captain America who was abused by the govt., a deeply flawed Captain America who was chosen by the govt., and then a worthy successor Captain America who reluctantly took up the role because nobody else *could* take up the fight. Man, I love the MCU. Especially now it's brave enough to get in there and explore issues that, let's be honest, they really didn't seem like they would ever touch back in Phase 1.

@@TheHongKongHermit Yup.. 0hase 1 was mostly about establishing characters and hooking audiences. Now that they have successfully established a fandom they can launch off that in a way no entertainment enterprise has been able to before.
