I find Marvel Legendary is by far the most overrated game I own. My wife loves it and I cant make it hard enough to entertain me. And I don't even like punishingly hard games. There's just no pressure in it at all.

Static Klingon box is nice! Actually has a plastic insert that can hold cards. But no dividers... so it’s of limited use!

Maestro AN they are very different games. This one isn’t going to stop me playing Arkham. But I enjoy them both!

One Stop Co-op Shop is this one easier for casuals? i play arkham almost only solo, because lcg is to hard for friends. (they can’t make a move without asking me questions) or doing something wrong :D

They have two set announce already one is green goblin that has a villain pack and a few cards that can be integrated to the other villains. The second announcement is captain America which has his 15 cards a specialised set of freedom(liberty?) Cards some neutrals, his nemisis, and finally 3 new cards for each other atribute (strength defense etc.) I am waiting for them to announce the xman and the fantastic four. This game has me so hyped. Can you emagin using wolverine vs doctor doom and then have sabertooth come in as his nemesis it would be like the original xmen film.

Oh wow. I guess this WILL be expensive if you're getting one character per pack. Holy crap. But I guess that could be better than Marvel Legendary where if you want one specific hero, you may get three others you don't care about. I hope the price point is right, because this could be awesome.

@@AlmightyCow1 prices seem ok for this, and is the best LCG model so far. If you dont like Captain America or MS Marvel you can skip him/her. What is cool about the scenario packs if if you take Green Goblin for instance you get 2 different villains and 3 new scenarios, So now all 3 core villains have 3 new scenarios too. Also each pack is around $20 AUD, Arkham ones are $27+ So thats a nice little discount.

We do! We will at least do some more playthroughs, not necessarily for every release but every once in a while. I also might do a review of the story mode once it comes out, since narrative immersion is the main thing I am missing from this game so far (and the thing that keeps Arkham at the top of my game list).

@@OneStopCoopShop Shame you can only choose different aspects for each deck, cant take 2 leadership for instance. Im guessing maybe you might not win if you did.

I’m sure they’ll have characters down the line that can splash in additional aspects, kinda like how some Arkham LCG investigators have become more complicated in deckbuilding.

My son had a very good end of the year report So my wife and I agree to get him an early present and guess what did he get? Now maybe I can buy him green goblin if it came out before Xmas Thx again

I gave my copy to Peter, and now it's his number 1 game (he does a weekly play on our streaming channel). I still enjoy it, but only 1-2 player. I really feel the downtime at 3-4. But I think the variety and creativity in the villain and hero design has been excellent, and I've enjoyed the new campaign boxes as well. It's never going to unseat Arkham LCG as my #1, but it's still really good.

This game is infinitely more expandable than LOTR. As long as Marvel makes comics, FFG can continue making expansions for Marvel Champions.

Peter Brasier as an Arkham LCG fan, I’m most excited to see the campaign mode they’ve teased for next year. I honestly can’t picture how it’ll work for this system... maybe something like the saga expansions for LOTR?

@@OneStopCoopShop I think a Campaign is a must for a co-op game these days! I'm fine with self-contained games with my friends. But campaigns are where it's at solo!

That really aggravates me but I'll stick around and see where this goes. :) The thought of the whole game and alot of expansions fitting in the box makes me happy. At least they're listening.

I gave my copy to Peter, my co-host of the podcast, and it’s his #1 game of all time. The later expansions and campaigns have made it even better for him. But an extra warning since that initial review - playing with 3-4 players really slows things down, so I only play 1-2, and playing only 1 hero can be too swingy.

The TTS mods out there are great. Peter plays on one on our streaming channel at least once a week. As for why I gave it away, it’s exactly what you said. LCGs are EXPENSIVE. I’m already collecting Arkham, so I gave Peter the “privilege” of collecting Marvel ;)

Hedgehobbit I thought it was pulled straight from actual comics? Maybe I’m wrong. I liked that they showed the heroes in different forms and iterations.

@@OneStopCoopShop I'm sure the art is from the comics. But not all Marvel art is created equal and it doesn't seem like FFG spent too much time searching out the good stuff.
