New Thor seems incredible with Cap1, knocking all those supers down to 2 costs seems very strong

Thor's throw should have been on all, not just for terrain. 6 threat is too much to have that limit. I liked it when you rubbed your hands, when you got to Trickster's Boon. Loki seems like the best character out of the box.

My favorite thing about lokis new leadership is you "may spend 1 power" and if you do, you "may reroll," which insinuates you can just spend a power and not do anything if you feel like it

As a Thor fan I've been looking forward to getting a new Thor and now that it's here I can't help but feel disappointed. No Mjolnir throw or use at all, no easy way to add stasis effects, no throw character, for Asgard feels better than the new version, no pay 1 power to reduce damage like Bill or just straight -1 to damage like Sif, no immune to stun and not even better defence. Lets just hope he gets changed quickly and made into a real 6 threat

I like the new characters l, my favorite is definitely Loki. I am going to put him in my trap house list. Mysterio and him will be BFF's 😁

So now if I put Loki, Bob, Electro, Doc Ock and Hydra grunts then 5/6 minis on the table will be Green with Yellow stripes :D

I agree with you about the new Thor, although shouting those superpower names in a theatrical voice as you use them might be worth it. 😂

Really looking foward to this box! Not too bothered that Thor is the weakest link in it as i dont like the new model anyway lol, so will continue to use the old 😉

Alot of good stuff in this box. Cannot wait! Loki and Sif are my favourites, Jame should be fun, but poor old Thor is a bit average.

The fun part for Loki's leadership and 'Oh My, what a pity' is if another character pays for a defense roll, they can pay off Loki's use of Oh my, basically buying a reroll and a potential damage which is very fun.

Think this new thor is gonna take a lot of testing to find his home, Think Jane is actually my favorite out of the box because of damage output. Sif is a very dependable 4 threat with damage reduction and a full reroll on her spender for 5 power is pretty tasty. Loki I'm torn on, definitely the better tactics cards and great ld but naf spender.

While I'm happy for a new Thor, I sadly have to agree he may not be worth the extra threat for competitive games. I will still play him in casual games, but it does hurt. I feel they just don't get Thor. They were timid with his T5, and thankfully bumped him up a but, hut he should be a bruiser at T6 on par with Hulk from the getgo. The rules peeps also missed a fine opportunity to add in an Odison specific G-d Blast for a ttc, or a Power Cosmic boost from the recent Cates run. Even something from G-d-Butcher where he gains the power of the NecroSword or a Warriors Madness berzerk rage, so much more thematic and lore driven. No, instead we got a power calling back one of the most embarrassing moments from arguably the worst MCU movie to date. I will choose to look upon it as a Thor-Corp thing from secret wars instead, as in the end, that should have been the card. Something that boosts either version of him, Beta Ray Bill, Jane Foster Thor, and anyone in the future deemed worthy, for more future releases, like Worthy Storm, etc. A bonus dice and shock for all is cool. No, we got whst we got. Loki is the clear winner here, with a good Jane F and a solid Sif at T4, leaves the new Thor is a fair disappointment. He should have had some combo (not all) of an unlimited size on that throw, the other throw be characters too (the organized circuit uses way too few pieces of terrain as it is), have some defensive tech like Damage Reduction, even a weaker one where he pays a power. Thor has drawn from ridiculous levels of endurance with crazy feats of what he can take. Unworthy Thor and the overall diminished power in general in the Ultimate universe is what seriously gives a very incorrect pov on Thor and his legacy capabilities since the very start of Marvel.

Note on Heart of the Worthy, it doesn't grant you another turn, just an activation. So you wouldn't be giving away priority, but also under the current rules, you would also not be able to use any of her "Once per turn" abilities since you are not in a turn. Advance and attack only. Note a great card. Currently waiting in the rules forums for clarification on those limitations. Sif just seems like a less valuable Valkyrie. 1 more threat for 1 more health, 1 more physical defense and damage reduction, and worse dice triggers, manipulation, and damage. She's easily worst in the box.

I feel the main issue that doomed prophecy is the start of activation phase and heart of the worthy is at the end, which means she has to survive with no physical defence. But four 10 dice hammer strikes? Probably worth it.

I have a rules question I'm hoping someone can answer, can sacrifice or bodyguard be used on an area attack that does not target a specific character? scenario is daredevil using area of effect and thanos wanting to use sacrifice card to absorb area attack to protect corvis glave? any insight would be appreciated!

Original Thor is never going to see the table again, there is no reason to take him over The Mighty Thor (Jane Foster) the only think he does that she doesn't is his AOE attack and resist Stun.
