@@willofD_It was pretty good, the animation on that scene and the use of kinetic energy to halt potential energy was A1. I don't know if it was the GOAT of landings but it was up there. I was not a fan of his but that scene almost made me rethink that entirely.

Same. It was very cool. I have some physics question though. 🤓. Like equal and opposite force.. and eye ball strength. And the comics say he ( and havok) are immune to to thier own powers. So how his beams impart force on him to slow fall, or quick move is questionable. I'll accept it looks cool. But I like my mutants and magic to have some realism.

@@MartinGarcia-cc8fe he can also use stored energy to increase his speed, stamina, strength and recovery. That's what I was hoping for: he gets juiced up and does a huge leap and just wails on some enemies. Or even absorbs energy directly from his victim to fatigue them.

It's a call back to the first episode of XMEN TAS. Pretty much marvel without the rights. Also the theme everyone loves was written and performed by shuki Levi and ron Wasserman(power rangers and dragon ball themes)

I might not be remembering it correctly, but she once went nuclear in the comics - having her skeleton looking like a glowstick - and then returned to normal.

I am so happy to see a show that cares about Cyclops and does justice to the character. The only other shows I know that did the character justice were in X-Men Evolution. Much like Superman in modern media, writers, for some reason, like to depict Scott as a boring boy scout. I pray when we get the X-Men in the MCU, they take notes from this show and do justice to the characters in the movies that FOX never could

@@bhlakbatosai I actually have seen Wolverine and the X-Men, I thought it was a pretty solid show. However I admittedly didn't like how they depicted Cyclops in the show. His fight with Multiple Man was cool yes, but the characterisation of him was pretty poor. They depicted him as a jaded, stubborn, selfish teammate who was more concerned about Jean than working with the X-Men, essentially they just gave Cyclops Wolverine's role on the team and switched them so that they could promote Logan as the team leader and more rational one which I thought was a bizarre change up. I'm not saying the show is bad, I just wasn't fond of how they diminished Cyclops just so Wolverine could get the spotlight as a more likeable character

Cyclops really did get the respect he deserves and needs in X Men 97! It’s also quite embarrassing for FOX and their X Men universe where they made Cyclops take a real backseat and make him look like a loser! Now, let’s hope Cyclops will be getting the same treatment in MCU like in X Men 97! And hopefully like The Avengers all of the X Men will get the chances to show how good they are at kicking butt in the each own ways!

If Warner Bros had any competency or respect for the DC brand, they would’ve put someone else in charge of the DCEU instead of someone who only cares about how he portrays the characters and not how the fans want them to be. At least his Justice League movie didn’t suck.

It was like that in the original animated series too, and they really played on Cyclops and Wolverine’s common love interest, but also their respect for one another. It’s awesome to see them pay homage to the old animation style in this new release.

They didn’t save his image. They improved it. People forget the og Xmen show had cyclops being kind of a wimp of a leader, getting punked and put down constantly by Wolverine and not having anyone believe in him. But in the comics, he was a Badass version of Captain America. This 97 version is more in line to what we saw in the comics

Uh u need to rewatch that. He was never punked. Just because he handled arguments more mature than wolverine doesn’t mean he was a wimp. Whenever Wolverines bucked at him, Cyclops stood his ground
