The fact that people at Marvel had to be told by the editor that maybe they should have Tony Stark say his famous "I am Iron-man" line to bookend a 10-year, 20-movie journey is actually insane. It's THE most obvious line to say in that moment, it's so obvious that the audience is fully primed for it and is expecting it, because what else is he going to say? What else would make sense there even? And again, nobody at Marvel thought of this? The freaking editor had to tell them, hey, him saying his CLASSIC LINE is probably a good idea here, is pure insanity.

It's a continuation of where the series left off in 1997.

Man this video made my head hurt from realizing how carefully they work on this stuff. The amount of levels of detail making something like this has is nothing but amazing. Great video!

0:53 Not really, it was emotional yeah, but Loki S2 finale was also very emotional, I'd say even more emotional than Endgame.

This was a new series! Get OUT of here! I thought it was just remastered or something of the 90s series. Boy! That's awesome!

How much on either end of a shot does the editor have to work with? In live action a shot can continue until the director calls cut but animation can be planned to the cut, is it a matter of moving and arranging shots? Is there additional time that's added for the purpose of editing latitude?

Not sure about the specifics for this show, but from what I've read the editors will hop onboard to animated features much earlier in the process when you only have storyboards to go off of. They'll use them to cut together animatics with temp VO and sound, and once the timing on those is locked in then the team can move to animation.

I feel like your thumbnail is completely wrong for this video. I think you should have a picture of wolverine holding the picture and then say. This is a love letter from editors.
